Yeah. It's not dull but I don't like races like this. Artificial drama isn't sporting. I don't like the dirty stuff. I just fundamentally don't accept the idea that you can ignore the track to maintain position. Stop doing it.

I don't think I've seen a dirtier driver than Max Verstappen in my lifetime of following the sport (I'm 33).
There's hard racing and blatant cheating, and Max is definitely a cheater. In a normal world he would get a DQ but since Red Bull get all the decisions he'll only get a slap on the wrist.

The cynic in me says nah. Haven't seen much this year at all, and a bit of controversy and finale showdown seems pretty fitting for a dwindling viewership.

Pen was dished out in the race so I wouldn't expect anything further.
The crash was a highlight of how poor communication is between the stewards/teams. How they thought telling teams/drivers one at a time that the place should be given back on a high speed, narrow circuit was a good idea is beyond me.

They said the penalty was for leaving the track and gaining an advantage though, not the potential brake test on the straight.

They've made their own bed refusing to address this to a permanent end after Silverstone and especially after Monza.
Said a few weeks ago I wouldn't be surprised if the championship is won in the courtroom and it's only feeling more likely at the minute.

If it was so tight towards the end next week and one has the fastest lap, then a take out could be a temptation too.
FIA needs to get strict on any over aggression before next season as this could lead to bigger consequences.
