I still fancy Hamilton for it. There's no way he doesn't push to have a go down the start/finish with DRS when he has nothing to lose.

I'm not upset about the red flag, safety comes first, it's just the stupid free tyre change rule. Why is it even still a thing post Monza 2020.
Red bull were always going to do the opposite as they had nothing to lose. It's just shit when the rules create sudden massive unearned advantages when everyone's working so hard for tiny advantages.
Long way to go, and hopefully this isn't decisive but the rules are stupid.

It wouldn't be quite so grating if there weren't two separate incidents this season where Mercedes got the rub of the green with the red flag.
Anyway, the issue here is the track not the rules. It's fucking dogshit and an embarrassment to be racing on it.

I can't see any good reason to allow tyre changes under a red flag unless it's raining. The cars are in parc ferme. If a team thinks they have a puncture the stewards can verify it.
From a sporting integrity standpoint it's almost as bad as awarding points in Spa in my view. They need to change it for 2022.
