Doesn't really change the fact that Norris drove a heroic race. Anyone who knows F1 knows we saw Norris prove he's Champion material today. It's also good experience for him for the future.

I’m really looking forward to the next ten years or so. Lando, Max, LeClerc, Russell, Sainz. All capable of winning a WC. Should be good fun.

Slight concern - how close is he to a race ban?

Hamilton must be a bit miffed to see Verstappen right beside him again after all that.

He's proven himself to be too good to not have his day eventually.
Would have been 2 McLaren wins on the bounce very nearly on pure pace. I'm over the moon for them.

What a race, what a season!!!
Feel for lando, could have easily been the right call, it was a lottery and I think without needing to play it safe Lewis would have made a similar desicion.
Max biggest winner of the day, what a day for him. I honestly have no idea how this season will finish.

I really think it only haunts you if you crack. He didn't, he just made a judgement call that was wrong, and frankly, the team had radar and he didn't and they effectively froze.

Yeah he was 100% confident when he told them to get fucked on the radio. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.
The way he seemed to let Hamilton eat into his lead so he could up the pace when he needed to was the sort of thing that separates the good from the great.

It's a very familiar feeling this actually. British drivers rarely seem to get to that top step easily. Brundle, Hill, Hamilton and Russell all had their first wins denied through outside factors. Let's hope he's more Hamilton than Brundle.

Proud dad, fair enough, but it is quite funny that a) his dad is so corporate that he put this on linkedin and b) they had a tennis court to practice on. I'm sure plenty of kids would have enjoyed 'working hard' with their own kart sliding around in the back garden! I love Lando but that's not hugely self aware from his dad. Reminds me a bit of that joke from the IT Crowd when Renholm is reminiscing... "when I started, I had just two things in my possession, a dream... and six million pounds".

Hardly surprising that though is it? Ain't many sports where working class folk can succeed, as the barriers to entry are so high. Even rugby, where you'd think it was more like football, a lot is determined by the school you go to.
