Haar is shit on the east coast in early/late summer. Wind in the wrong direction, or cooling land temps bring it in. Worst of all, you can see it lurking out there waiting.
It's shit. & cold. Been caught out too many times going out on the ran-dan in short sleeves only for that shit to roll in & have to walk home freezing. Thankfully, the warmth from the'beer coat" usually helped.

Too hot for me today. Love my walking, but been for a short 2miler and it’s Betty Swollocks and a tomato complexion.

Pro Tip, hang up wet washing outside before you go to bed, so by the time you get home from work, you've got another set of clothes dried. Also, having a cellar to sleep in is amazing when it's fkin' roasting. |
