Yeah, GF's brother's GF is one of those "We must be doing something right now. Can't just sit still for two minutes!" people.
It's utterly exhausting to be around her, and you can see the pain in the bro's face when he'd clearly much rather sit around and have a chat instead of moving on to the 10th thing in the hour.
Spent a Christmas at theirs once and it was my idea of hell.

I think Hickman is trolling us lovers of this glorious weather. There's a few clouds today so not quite as glorious as yesterday. Popped a couple of bottles of water in the freezer earlier and don't know why I haven't done that sooner. Much less faff than ice cubes that dissolve in minutes. In South Korea most of the supermarkets and mini marts start putting bottles in the freezer in the summer so you can just buy them ready frozen (no mark up too) which was a great help in surviving the evil humid summers. As for weather, had a thunderstorm and rain yesterday morning in Rome but by the afternoon was back to the low to mid 30s so didn't help much... |
