Getting up, it's 19 degrees and predicted highs of 23 today.
Now that's glorious.
(Tbf it's still a bit too warm but compared to the hellish weekend temps it's a huge improvement)

I'd move to Stornaway if I could, but have no real means so just stuck here for the foreseeable future. I have friends on Lewis. It's a beautiful part of the world but fuck me is it bleak in the winter. The wind is harsh as fuck. Amazing beaches though. |

Microsoft weather has been saying 'Raining now' on my PC and 'Rain coming' on my work laptop for the last 90 minutes.
It's not raining and it doesn't look like it's going to either.

Had a bit of rain this morning which our garden sorely needed. Temprerature has come down a little but it's still nice and warm. Can't complain really. Just want the upstairs of the house to now come down to a reasonable temperature because I need a good nights sleep (the busted ribs don't help, but at least some rest will help me heal quicker).

I'm just outside London and while it's better than yesterday, its still pretty humid here. No rain or merciful storms yet; it think they're expected tomorrow. Every so often the wind teases me with a cool breeze and then back to muggy baking.
I'm wondering where I can move to avoid humidity, if this is going to become a regular thing.
