Maybe it's the UK's fault, this always used to be shit until we raised the bar and now our expectations are too high. Maybe France feel like they're selflessly jumping on the grenade by lowering expectations for future Olympics. To be fair, Beijing was incredible before us too. Well, incredible apart from the knowledge that if any of the thousands of performers cocked they would likely disappear. |

The catwalk is one of the few structures in this that they could have put a perspex cover on it when building it and it wouldn't have had any impact in function, doh.
