Sounds like I made a mistake sticking with the basketball rather than going over to the BMX.
Nothing wrong with a bit of canoe slalom though.

Back in the day, I used to go to an Extreme sports festival near bristol every summer, and it was always an amazing time. If you think the bmx people are crazy, you should see the guys doing flips on motorbikes!  The BMX, Skateboarding, Inline, motoX, etc... was all great fun and nuts, but what always used to impress me was that all the competitors were cheering each other on and chatting between runs, and they'd be genuinely happy when someone pulled off an amazing run or trick, even if that was their competitor who just beat them by doing it. Then I'd go home and watch most of the competitive sports they showed on tv... where they were all diving all over the place and trying to get their competitors sent off. |

Alex Yee was sensational, watching it live, he looked done in at almost 20 seconds behind but it must have been a last push and the NZ lad's legs falling off in the exact right moment that won him that well deserved Gold.
Reilly in the BMX, a strong silver but the Argentine that won it, the tricks he pulled off in his 1st run were out of this world.
