Anyone else really struggling with how the hell you pronounce Megalopolis? It's just a really unnatural word.

I love how the beginning of that trailer is basically a "Fuck You" list Rather falls flat on its face going from The Godfather to Apocalypse Now and then on to Bram Stoker's Dracula! The first two were certainly harshly treated at release by some but Dracula is just crap. |

Using two separate Andrew Sarris quotes and then Pauline *fucking* Kael for The Godfather is not a good start for your argument that all your films have been massively misunderstood. The film was a box office smash and critics darling.

Erm. Or maybe it's just a bit duff, mate..
Did make me laugh including Dracula after The Godfather and Apocalypse now... That had the makings of a great film, but some woeful casting (well, mainly Keanu)

It's the thing he wanted to make and he put up his own money to get it done, that at least is worth some kind of respect imo. Fwiw I didn't love the movie, but I'm glad I saw it. I want more directors to be able to make their weird passion project movies, it's way more interesting to me than most product from the major studios. |
