I panicked for a moment thinking it was just coming to Xbox on October 11th, it's not, it's also on Playstation with same release day - thank fuck for that. Very excited for this!

Looks really good, although Fury looks like he’s dropped his contacts!
Do remember enjoying Fight Night on Xbox and I think Vita. Feels like a genre that was huge but then was forgotten.

I was really looking forward to this, the gameplay looked really good, but it's getting very mixed reviews. Seems to be an average effort, I'd love to try a demo and see what the gameplay is like for myself, as I'm not sure I'm ready to drop money on it at full price. Might wait for a sale.

3 was my favourite. The slow mo close up when you landed a knock down was brilliant.
Would always see how many extra shots I could get in before they went down.

I played quite a bit in early access on PC. It's not very good IMO. I played it a couple of times a few months apart and if anything it seemed to be on a downward trajectory then. I haven't played it very recently tbf (Steam tells me February). |

Good to have some feedback from someone who has played it thanks heavy.
Some of the feedback I've seen online from people who have also played it is that it shouldn't be compared to the Fight Night series as that was more arcadey and encouraged slugging, and Undisputed is a more accurate portrayal of what really happens in the ring.
I did used to get annoyed with people who would just slug away in FN as that would never fly in an actual fight and it felt unrealistic to be rewarded for that style of play, so part of the allure for Undisputed was that it was tactical and considered.
Still going to wait for a sale, or a demo first.

Tbf it's just the same in traditional fighting games where people as we say "just press buttons". If you know what you're doing then you can easily destroy those people. Half the fun of Fight Night is it's arcadey nature but there was always depth to it and if you got good at parrying then it wasn't that hard to take down people who just press buttons.

Just looks buggy as hell. Phantom punches, you can't throw punches when leaning, no clinches. Just sounds like it needed more time in the oven.
