They need to be making more gamey-games. Stuff that’s easy to pick up, even if you’ve not played it in months. Spencer will just want to try and buy Nintendo again for that. They'd only shut them down.

Heh, I think Jeff Gerstmann in his latest podcast mentioned Fable along with Perfect Dark as being “stuck” with not much to show - so perhaps not a consensus, but I trust him not to have plucked it from thin air. Latest word is Fable is still set for next year.

If that was the case I would be whispering "Viva Piñata 3" until they accidentally gave it the green light.

My list of "game franchises MS owns but hasn't revisited" is getting shorter now they've done The Big Three (Crackdown, Fable, Perfect Dark). So here are some games DEFINITELY getting announced this weekend:
Banjo-Kazooie Black and White Viva Pinata The Movies Tony Hawk Quake Heretic Crackdown, again, because the last one was a bit "meh"

Imagine they revived Tony Hawks 3+4. That would be amazing.

And the X-Mower. Xbox themed robot lawn mower which while facing forward has wheels on the diagonal leading to X-grid design lawn finish.
Yours after next to nobody buys it after 6 months for £50. RRP £249.

In all seriousness, a handheld with native Xbox mode, and Windows mode for PC use, that I could carry around the house and dock at whatever screen I wanted would be an instant buy.

For all the developers they bought over the years, I just hope it's not Gears of War yet again You watch your dirty whore mouth...albeit with the deepest respect. Oh Yeah! We have been very patient, 5 years of patience in fact, Big Phil owes us, I truly wish it was "it's not Gears of war yet again" I do think (I'm crossing everything!) we will get some news, as for other IP's it would be great to see some new Fable gameplay. Also why the feck have we not got a lego Simpson's game, surely it would sell loads ? certainly more than a Horizon one. Love the Horizon games but would still rather Simpsons got the lego treatment.

There is a weird perception that it's always gears but there have been 5 mainline games in 18 years. Hardly ramming them down our throats especially considering the first 3 were in the space of 5 years.

Hit and Run definitely need a remake.
Won't happen or it will ripped to parts with microtransactions.

ekzI do not disagree about the creators. I just want a new/more games see also Futurama (I liked it!) with South Park getting the 2 rpg's, (not counting the latest game) and both being very well received, I hoped Simpsosn's would get similar love. I would totally accept a "directors" remake of H&R with QOL improvements and additional content though.

I'm not disagreeing with you for the sake of it, I just genuinely disagree that there needs to be a new Simpson's game. A remake I could understand, but I think some things should just be left as is and don't need to be iterated upon. As is often the case (not that I think they would) new releases just break things, especially the 'magic'. I think they did well in their own janky (characteristic) way and it should just be left as is, and ported to new systems. That's all.

Hoping it is a bit more polished than 2 at launch. Also hoping for a little bit more depth, it's so almost brilliant and I think they could get it there.

2 became one of my favourite games of all time. I'll be replaying it again at some point as they have added a fair few bits since I last played.
But yeah could still do with more depth.

2 was a mess at launch but they never did make the main game have much of story. Which was a shame
heartlands DLC was better but the final mission with the walls was too difficult for solo person

Do we think they're going to announce the new controller that was leaked during the FTC shenanigans? I've been putting off buying one just in case.

In terms of third-party stuff, I'm hoping for MGS Delta - it wasn't at Sony's show, nor Keighley's, and I don't think Konami has its own event planned.
Recent rumours suggested that it has been bumped to 2025, and that pre-orders would go live sometime soon.
Outside guess: Silksong will finally get a release date during the MS presentation.

I've seen the first party list, it's quite substantive. Now State of decay 3 has been leaked there's one more mystery game.

How long is the Xbox bit of the stream? I’ll be cooking for the family at 6, with this on in the background, just wondering if I can stretch out the meal prep to cover it
