I watch more AEW these days. Prob won't go back to WWE until they have more than one star there.
If I have an issue with AEW, it's that sometimes it's like the equivalent of a Michael Bay film. There's a lot of action but the more spectacular it is, the less it all means.
Case in point, some parts of the tornado tag match with the Lucha Bros and Andrade/Rush were great. But you had guys taking Canadian destroyers on the apron and various other moves that look like they kill a guy, only for everyone to pop back up less than a minute later to break up a pin. You have these overly flashy and convoluted movesets that are pointless because none of them ever get a win. If I could give any advice to the company as a whole, it would be to slow down. They gave Wardlow a slow burn and he's arguably the best thing in AEW right now.
And not sure if this is new or just how things are at the moment, but there's no forward planning on the undercard. One minute Starks is a heel, the next he's a face; one minute Luchasaurus is a monster heel destroying Varsity Blondes, the next he's still a good guy but was killing these guys just so Christian was fresh for Jungle Boy. It makes no sense.
I think it's all a side effect of having big shows, every week. It makes it very entertaining but it's not sustainable.

I’ve not been watching anything consistently for ages, just jumping in to watch whatever angles or matches are good and maybe keeping up with general stories from youtube highlights. Only really from WWE, AEW and Impact though.

Too many spot fest monkeys in AEW, blading just for the hell of it. Trying to be edgy but comes off more family guy. TK doesn't know what he's doing but refuses to get a proper booker. Can't take criticism (which has passed onto many of its fans). Unable to grow the product over the last year or so. Massively miss uses talent(which for some reason isn't called out nearly as much as it is with WWE).
Focused more on signing ex WWE/NXT than doing anything with the guys that helped make AEW a thing.
Keeps acting like The Young Bucks are a thing. (Damn they suck).
They have some good stuff now and then but it's buried under so much nonsense.
But the main issue? Stop focusing on WWE so much every damn week.

AEW definitely has problems, have to agree with a fair few you've listed. In fact a few of us were criticising it a few pages back after a shitty run of Dynamites and some inexplicable booking decisions so I'm not sure where this "can't take criticism" thing comes from unless it's a Reddit/Twitter thing.
I prefer AEW at the moment but I'm really looking forward to see how HHH's WWE turns out - I loved his NXT booking (and the matches) so I'm hoping he brings it closer to that. Anything to move away from Roman vs Brock.
People rooting for wrestling companies instead of the wrestlers themselves baffles me - they don't give a fuck about you, just your viewership and money.
Bucks aren't everyones cup of tea but they've put on some amazing matches. Hangman/Omega vs The Young Bucks is one of the best tag team matches I've ever seen (and they've had some bangers with the Lucha Bros and FTR too). They're good enough that WWE have tried to sign them multiple times (HHH in particular is a fan of their work). Pretty poor on the mic though.

The IWC on twitter is shocking. Its embarrassing how much dick sucking some do for a company be it WWE or AEW.

I used to go on wrestlingforum.com years ago - used to be a fun place to talk wrestling with fellow fans.
It's an absolute toxic cesspit now - the absolute worst of wrestling fan stereotypes.
This is pretty much the only place I can talk about it which is a bit of a shame.

Cageside Seats is pretty good, IMO.
TBF I mostly hang around the Raw live threads so it could be the people in the main articles are more obnoxious. I know there are some garbage people that have a hate boner for Sasha whenever an article on her pops up. Okay so maybe that community can be bad too. But the live threads are fun!

Lots of reports of Punk becoming a problem backstage. The bit about Hangman was apparently un scripted and he's apparent dislike for him isn't making him popular with others as Paige is seen as one of the nicest guys you could meet and very much a Mr AEW.

Must be particularly jarring as Punk sacked off the wrestling scene for so long and now reverts back to being "King Shit".

I can't believe people are surprised about the Punk stuff. He always came off as a self-centered egomaniac to me. The way he did that huge whining podcast with Colt Cabana, then completely turned on him for the audacity if Colt supporting his old friends at the company left a terrible taste in my mouth. Then him forcing them to ice out Colt when he joined, despite "the boys" loving him, just like the Hangman Page stuff. Guy's just a terrible person, IMO. He only supports causes and talent when it reinforces his viewpoint.

I mean, he's pushed to the moon by TK so not really
WWE pushing for better quality matches and having a Women's division not relegated to youtube is a threat to AEW, but having two large wrestling companies offering a good shows is no bad thing.

Don't mind Cole going back to WWE to be honest - hope he takes KOR and Fish with him if he does. Outside of a great entrance theme and saying 'Boom!' he's not really offered much to AEW.
Bit worried HHH is just Vince but with different favourites - glad he's pushing KO (he's worth it) but Ciampa and Gargano are bang average at everything outside in-ring work and don't really do it for me. HBK promoted and Road Dogg back too.
Expeting a Sheamus title reign shortly.

I like Adam Cole for the most part, it's just we get too much of him. Most of his singles matches play out the same way, except the ones against Hangman and OC which I really enjoyed, and his shenanigans with the Elite were fun, not so much his shenanigans with KOR and the charisma black hole Bobby Fish.

Fish's moustache has more charisma than KOR. If Fish is a black hole then KOR is definitely a supermassive one!
I don't mind Cole either but I'm just sick of the Future Shock/Bullet Club/Undisputed Era/Elite factions that have played out across ROH, WWE and now AEW with barely any variation.
He's good on the mic, in the ring and has a decent look. Think I just expected him to delivery more at this point in his career; instead it feels like he's barely developed.

I like Cole but he's been poorly used IMO in AEW.
It's pretty crazy that WWE managed to keep JG return secret. I'm guessing him and Ciampa with reform DIY soon enough.
Edge told the crowd after Raw that he plans to retire next year. I feel he deserves 1 more title run but don't see it happening.

He's done the exact same thing he did in ROH and WWE, mannerisms and all. Hard to blame AEW for this one (they even gave him the Owen Hart Cup).
Would be ace to see DIY on the main roster - can't see them achieving anything in singles.
Be interesting to see who they go with for Edge's last match - unsure if they'll put someone over or give him a dream match.
Give me TLC IV!

I’d be very into a DIY reunion
Just don’t make their break-up feud last as long as it did in NXT. I got so bored of every Takeover closing with them doing another streetfight variant for what felt like years.

Precisely!
I'm reminded of WCW/nWo Revenge, and that's a great thing.
I hope it has a strong create a wrestler.

I don't think development has gone swimmingly. Lots of rumours about Omega being unhappy with developer.
