How can you be a main roster superstar for what, 5 - 10 years, and not be able to afford your own house?

Anything would have been better than another Brock/Roman match.

So this was just to show the board that the fans still love him?

Possibly or he was talked out of addressing the issue last minute so just quickly went out as advertised.

I pretty much did a LOL when I read that it's Reigns Lesnar at Summerslam.
I'm pretty sure their main event feud is over five years long now. The fact they keep relying on a part time 2002 guy rather than elevating new talent is a joke. The fact that someone can not appear on TV since Mania but come back and instantly be number one contender is a joke. The message it sends out to Riddle, Seth, KO etc is a joke.
The contrast to the aew main event scene is absolutely astounding

All ego Vince McMahon. To me it seems obvious he’s saying he’s still here and won’t go anywhere. He’s stepped down briefly to appease the shareholders and will be back once it all blows over.

In less troubling news - Zac Efron and A24 are making a film about the Von Erichs deadline.com/2022/06/zac-efron-the-iron-claw-a24-sean-durkin-1235046496/

Anyone got any stats on whether Lesnar vs Reigns beats the amount of times Orton vs Cena happened?

Anyone got any stats on whether Lesnar vs Reigns beats the amount of times Orton vs Cena happened? Relatedly, Orton and/or Cena would also be likely candidates to main event Summerslam. The reliance on the "class of 2002" to still draw is astonishing. Other than Reigns nobody else in the last ten years has really had a credible look in. The fact Cody "Stardust no surname" Rhodes now feels like a legit main event level guy in WWE just shows that talent CAN be booked and presented as main eventers and get over. Cody achieved this outside of the Fed. If he hadn't left 6 years ago I would assume he would still be a 50/50 booking mid-carder. Same guy, same potential, different booking. Sooner or later the pool of legacy superstars will dwindle and it'll be hard to imagine who will be their top guys.

Anyone got any stats on whether Lesnar vs Reigns beats the amount of times Orton vs Cena happened? 22 times apparently. Think Brock and Roman are around the Austin/Rock numbers.

I don't remember liking any of them. Just never felt those 2 had good chemistry in the ring. Odd they never faced each other at WM though. Same really with Brock and Reigns. Just don't gel when it comes to the matches.

Owens joined in as well.
Both those men more deserving of holding Gold.

Tim’s body to be thrown across the Friendly Tap and start a bar room brawl in his honour.

Joking aside, I remember Tim doing the biggest bump of the night in a Hell in a Cell PPV. Not many refs can say that.
The whole Tim White suicide thing was a bit weird, though…

Yeah the suicide was way over the line. I remember he was crying in a bathtub and then got a toaster or something..
Just couldn't bring myself to watch Impact/TNA after AJ left.

They did several, First he tried to shoot himself but messed up and shot himself in the foot. Tried swallowing rat poison and then hanging himself with each attempt "comically" failing.
All very poor taste.
Actually easy to forget TNA is 20 years old. They had a real golden patch at one point but that was all pissed away and then ruined when Hogan got bought in.

Yeah mostly tag team/x division was where it was at, with monsters ball and cages matches being pretty decent.
WE FIND THE DEFENDANTS GUILTY!
Maybe it's nostalgia or TNA was the only thing on TV that was free at a time when I couldn't afford SKY at uni.. but damn does bring back some good memories.. more so than a lot of WWE around 05-10. I even went to the Maximum Impact Tour and lost my voice within 10 minutes ha.

It seems wild that TNA went through a period of consistently well selling UK arena tours but 9pm on a Sunday on freeview was a great tv spot for them.
They’ve been putting loads of classic ppvs on their youtube channel recently if you want to relive the pre-Hogan era

Obviously there is a lot of gross stuff happening in WWE these days but the Elias/Ezekiel/KO story is my favourite in any of the companies I keep track of Raw spoiler:
