But sounds like similar stuff has been found in the investigation.
Wonder if this forces him out? Could be why Steph is taking a leave of absence to avoid this shit storm.

Obviously being a horrible sex creep boss is awful but I’m not sure anyone who follows the business side of the business will be shocked or surprised that this sort of thing has come out.
Look at how they’ve looked after Lawler all these years too
Dread to think what has gone on over the years that will never come out. Even Bret’s book has stories of him having a woman in every city and that’s probably the wholesome end of things

I wonder what everyone's final straw will be with Vince? Because it certainly wasn't covering up a murder, continuing on a PPV after Owen died etc etc. He seems to get a pass because he made a product that the majority of people have enjoyed over the years.

Oh man they've done such a poor job of building Forbidden Door. Jericho naming a bunch of NJPW wrestlers who I've never heard of. Is that my fault I don't really watch NJPW?

Sadly agree with this - the build has been incredibly late and quite underwhelming. The (assumed) matches are pretty great but they've barely had any focus. There's one episode of Dynamite left and I've still no idea who Okada is facing (or if he's even on the card). Is Danielson facing Zack Sabre Jr? Is there going to be a tag match? Really messy. |

Fair point; with this PPV I'm all about the matches, not really fussed about the storylines.
That's purely because I'm confident the guys (especially the NJPW ones) can tell a great story from start to finish solely in the ring.
I hope some more storylines kick off properly within AEW after this PPV; particularly with Hangman, BCC and the tag division.

AEW would be better off having 0 matches next Wednesday cause an injury curse is going about in Wrestling right now.
Remind me of that year in the early 0s when WWE wrestlers started dropping like flies.

After recently watching Succession I've increasingly thought it's very telling that despite its more PG, corporate approach since going public 20 years ago - Vince still keeps his inner circle as either family or right wing sleazy wrestling carnie relics like JJ, Bruce Pritchard and Johnny Ace.
Nick Khan is the main exception to that and followed his arrival we've seen a fair bit of rotten fruit dropping from the tree. Convinced his brief is to get the company into a sellable state which may also include de-skeletonising the closets.

Although if I'm understanding this properly, they story isn't that he abused anyone, only that he paid an ex-employee off to remain quiet about their affair? Not that that in itself isn't bad, extramarital affairs, getting romantically involved with employees, etc.
Also that Khan vs Khan picture looks like somebody carved a massive chunk off Nick's scalp.

I'm confused that Steph has been brought in as CEO within a month or her deciding to step down from the company for a while. There's definitely trouble a-brewing in the Fed and it's absolutely fascinating. Can't believe Vince is making an angle out of it... actually I can, this is the guy who made a comedy angle out of JRs bells palsy bouts.
