Must admit if Samoa Joe can stay healthy I’m more excited for that than anything Cody related. Joe is one of my favourites and I’m shocked WWE never gave him the opportunity on the main roster, considering people like Austin praised Joe to the hills a few times.

Joe is one of the best big men in the business, but he became accident prone during his WWE run, so that kept them from giving him a major push. He was always booked as a threat though.

Yep one of the few booked to look strong against Brock but sadly too injury prone.
Sucks he never got a title run on Raw or Smackdown. He was also great on commentary
Jeff Hardy with some interesting antics over the weekend. Toni Storm as well...

Surprised that he did the full American Nightmare entrance and that Austin Owens went for as long as they did. How Owens isn’t a main event/title holding regular is beyond me.
I’ve heard Logan Paul did well but fuck that guy

According to Cody Vince was happy to keep the American Nightmare gimmick and others in WWE had been pushing for them to keep it.
KO definitely deserves a title run this year

Cody's character got really stale in AEW and it looks like he's just ported it over to WWE.

The fact you have Vinny stumbling around the ring like a lost old man and no mid card belts defended says it all.
I hope we never see Reigns v Brock again. The two of them have awful chemistry in the ring.

Well still champ for now. Just a tease to watch Smackdown.
Match ended 10 minutes early due to Reigns arm popping out.
No doubt the plan is to put the Raw belt on Cody.
Wonder if they have him defend both belts at SS in a triple threat and do like they did with Kurt, Benoit and Jericho at WM 16. First pin is for 1 belt the 2nd for the other.
Either way Drew should end the run IMO.
Raw really missed having the international crowd

So it turns out Cody's meandering 4D chess promos in AEW were him being a mark for himself and were never leading to anything interesting.
Cody's character works way better in WWE than AEW but I still feel like we missed out on a fantastic heel turn with him as a delusional, entitled Homelander-esque character in AEW, it would have been glorious. Ah, well.

I'd love for someone to explain the appeal of Cody, because I don't get him at all. His character/actions were overly confusing and contradictory within AEW. We're only a few months from Brandi deciding to light up a table for Cody to botch/go through the table, which was completely random.
The promo he came back with tonight felt genuine regarding his dad, and sure he has unfinished business in WWE and he probably will fit more inline with what WWE produce. But I do have this feeling of him being a bit fake, and I'm curious as to why no one else really sees this..

Oh he's totally fake and I think most of us are starting to see it now, it's just marks like me wanted to believe.
I thought he genuinely wanted to change the industry for the better for the well being of wrestlers, but it was probably firstly an act to sell tickets outside of WWE. Or he was genuine at first but has become high on his own farts in the past couple of years or so.
