I think this is the least hyped I’ve been for Mania in a long long time.
The possibility of Cody turning up hardly screams Grandest Stage of Them All and thats still one of the highlights

Seth vs Cody
Edge vs AJ
KO show with Austin
Raw tag title match
Smackdown tag title match
Women's tag title
IC title match
US title match
That would be a great card and could be 5hrs

Plus the fact the biggest hype point for Mania is an AEW guy coming in (back), after two years of reading Fed fanboys diminishing the success of aew at every chance they get. More than that, the fact that the biggest AEW guy to go the whole us vs them at its inception is now returning only two years later. I like Cody, but honestly I'd pop more for Goldy. |

The thing is if they went 1 night and just had Brock vs Reigns Becky vs Belair Flair vs Rousey Seth vs Cody Edge vs AJ KO show with Austin Raw tag title match Smackdown tag title match Women's tag title IC title match US title match That would be a great card and could be 5hrs Agreed that would be a great card other than the last five matches which are a bit meh to me at least given the lack of heat/build/meaning to any of those titles. Hard to get hyped for the IC title when like we discussed it hasnt been a ppv worthy belt for over a year. Potentially good matches that are entertaining in the moment but I need stakes goddammit! I find the fact the tag division is still basically built around the Uso's almost comical. Feels like it hasn't moved on in like 8 years, just ticking over. |

Whereas AEW is bursting at the seams with good tag teams, ROH being their feeder promotion will do the world of good for AEW's bloated roster.

Yeah he said he has no interest in it as its not a real place people can go and see. To be fair it should be. Set up a hall of fame area at the performance centre or set it up each year wherever is hosting WM/HOF |

Was a well done return and Seth was perfect for the opponent but of course it all depends on what happens now. Unless Brock is taking time off i don't see him being in the title picture any time soon Flair and Ronda delivered a solid match(again) and the crowd reaction proved twitter is a very small % of the fans. Crowd was into it from start to finish. |

Something Taker mentioned though about respect and how you don’t step on people on the way up as you might need them on the way down.. To me Cody has dissed WWE multiple times so either WWE are desperate for wrestlers or they see something we non believers don’t.
Also did you read Cody’s comments about him returning? He thinks he’s the best wrestler in the world and wants to prove that. Either that’s a work as you’re never sure with him or he really believes his own hype..
Either way it doesn’t get me to tune in again. If it was CM Punk that switched back to WWE I’d be all over it. I don’t see the appeal of Cody. |

All I know is... Got to see one final Austin match. I watched it on delay so guessed it would turn into an actual match when I saw how much time was left when Owens came out. And just think tonight could end with Rock starring down Reigns.. small possibility but feels like the seeds have been planted for those 2 |

I can only see Cody competing at mid-card level at best and I'm not sure Vinny would be happy giving a top belt to him either. It's still disappointing that his stubbornness about not turning heel and beating guys he had no reason beating finished his AEW stint. I think he could've been the top heel at AEW but he was dead set on his America yeah! Persona.
