The Hardy Dadz coming out to their 90s WWE theme and wearing tight t-shirts and cargo pants will never not be funny to me. You expect it from Jeff cause he always does the same shit, but Matt's had more creative gimmicks throughout his career. They’re starting to look like when Hayes had to dress like them as their manager. Probably older than he was then too.

Matt really should be a manager role these days and he looks so uncomfortable moving around the ring.

Wouldn't be surprised if Matt lost about 5 years after that head injury the other year.

Speaking of. He did an interview with BTSport and the reason he disappeared in January and missed the Rumble was due to an expired visa. Due to covid he was unable to get it done so had to return home.

It would not shock me if Punk was older now than Hogan was in that match against The Rock at Mania

My only criticism was when Brit took the multiple chairs.. then got up a minute later, like nothing happened. I don't think it's unique to her as this happens across all the companies. Just sell the spot or don't do it...

In hindsight it felt like they had to rush through some spots as they were running out of time, but while watching it I was fully absorbed and the crowd was unreal. Best crowd since Omega v Danielson at Grand Slam.

This probably belongs in the Random Musings thread, but only people in this thread would know who I'm talking about so I'm leaving it here.
I've been playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition lately, and I've been thinking, if they ever do get around to producing a live action adaptation, Eva Marie would make a great Ashley Williams.

This weeks Dynamite was a real tale of two halves, first half was some of the best of AEW while the second half was some of the worst.
Dax v Punk was two great wrestlers putting on a great match, the 8-man tag was PPV quality madness, Jeff hardy is still insane, and the Mox/Danielson v Varsity Blondes match was decently brutal.
Then the second was all heels winning with interference which AEW does far too often and its getting real annoying and predictable. Hirsch and Red Velvet had a way better match on Rampage and this one felt like filler and could have been used to build other feuds in the Women's division. Cole v Lethal was ok but forgettable, I have liked Cole a lot in AEW but his matches are getting formulaic and ReDragon are far less fun than Young Bucks as an entourage. DO remain entertaining jobbers, their match with JAS was fun and Jericho looked great but again this match was missable.
The Sammy/Tay/ATT promo was cringy, as expected, but they took it to a new level of sports entertainment cringe, hopefully Sammy uses his natural unlikability to go heel soon and not drag things out like Cody did. I pretty much cancelled my Fite TV sub at this point, the few quid a month to avoid adverts and watch AEW a bit earlier is no longer worth it.

ReDragon are awful.
Kyle O'Reilly is probably the most unthreatening guy in all of AEW.

So Cody is either going to be on this week's Raw or Seth will at least be told they have someone for him to face at WM.
Night 1s card is looking pretty weak at the moment. They could easily have had this a one night and just made it around 5hrs.
IC and US titles still not on the card as well which is odd.

I thought it was a decent Dynamite aside from the Sammy/Tay stuff.

I was a huge Hardy Boys fan back in the day, so I watched their comeback match from Dynamite(?) Other than a couple of coordinated moves, it was pretty bad. Jeff seemed out of breath after about 10 seconds and they clearly can't do a lot of the moves they used to. Plus the rest of the wrestlers and tag teams on the roster can now do the kind of stuff that the hardys were unique for back in the day. That said, Jeff was mega over.
Stayed for the final women's cage match, and yeah, it was good, but rushed and they didn't really sell any of the big moves.

I think the whole Hardy reunion has been done to death now. WWE x2 at least, TNA, AEW, ROH.. I would have preferred Jeff by himself.

Jeff was always the more over of the two but yeah it's now a 47 and 44 year old trying to act and dress like they did over 20 years ago.
The bodies are broken and just can't do that stuff like they used to(jeff wouldn't have needed boxes hidden under a table for 1).
HHH has confirmed he won't be able to wrestle again.
"HHH told Stephen A. Smith on @firsttake that he had viral pneumonia, was coughing up blood and got checked. Had fluid in his lungs and around his heart. His ejection fracture with his heart plunged as low as 12, which is near death. Confirmed he is DONE in the ring".

Isn't HHH's whole thing that he didn't do steroids? That his bodybuilding was all clean, which I think is a big factor in why dudes like Nash and Austin respected him. As opposed to people like Hogan or Steiner who, err, had help.

Steiner always claimed to be natural.
Unless he had an injury at the time and couldn't train properly its always been believed he came off the juice in the early 00s when him and Steph wanted kids a he developed a dad bod for a while.
Steiner also reportedly told them they could test him once they tested HHH and after that he wasn't asked to test again.

US and IC title getting treated like shit at WM. IC title has now gone a year since being defended on PPV That's insane about the IC title not being PPV worthy. The secondary belts (including tag titles) are basically meaningless to WWE which mirrors how they handle everything other than their main event scene.
