I read a comment on CSS that said something like "if not for the substance problems, Hall would've been a bigger star." And that part was crazy to me. Hall was HUGE. He might not have been world champion, as you said, but before Rock and Austin, it was Hall and Nash that made wrestling cool. Not just entertainment, but actually cool.

It was that era where you had a tonne of big stars though. He may have had a WCW world title run but unsure as to how you'd have taken it away from Hogan, or Nash.

Hall/Ramon has a genuine claim to be the coolest wrestler ever.

Definitely one of the best finishers ever. Definitely. It was that good I used to use it on my brother when we were kids playing wrestling! Not the safest in hindsight....

Yeah, when my cousins and I used to wrestle as kids, we'd all do Razor's Edges and Jackknife power bombs. I remember trying the sharpshooter too.
I remember we'd constantly wrestle on our beds, and mine would always break from the constant power bombs and DDTs. As we got a little older we throwing each other into swimming pools.

Yeah it looked pretty unsafe in the ring sometimes too. The way he delivered it to some of those poor jobs looked deadly at the time...

Love him. One of my favourite heels. He is also spot on and I actually wish he mentions it in a promo. As I mentioned the other week. Nearly 15 minutes from the time Finn came out for the match against Priest to the start of the match due to ads and recaps

Yeah, it's terrible. Honestly, they need to lose an hour of the show and cut out all the recaps and promotions for upcoming shows, spin-off reality shows, etc. I don't even mind the longwinded promos or backstage segments, character work is important to wrestling. But we don't need to be reminded what happened last week, or in this extreme case, half an hour ago. Wrestling is not complex. Even if it's your first time, it's easy to understand this person is beefing with this person, let's fight.

It beggars belief that talents like Hall, Hennig and Owen were never world champs. They would have all picked up multiple world championship belts in modern wrestling. Especially Hennig Hall didn't want to be champ. Didn't want the pressure but he also said belts in wrestling mean nothing to anyone but marks. I do think Vince would have put the belt on him at some point if only Nash had jumped to WCW. Was reading how he was responsible for Stings Crow gimmick.

I'm scratching my head as to why there's a match to see who's host at the Wrestlemania talk show segment...
Yeah I read that in the Nitro book about Sting/Crow, or somewhere similar. Speaking of Sting.. if you ever get to watch Sting: Moment of Truth... I watched it a few months back and it is awfully entertaining.

The show stuff is just to avoid Cody. Starting to think they are just going to wait until one of the WM nights to have him come out. Like with Cena and Taker a couple years back. Or it will be the Raw before WM.
Otherwise they would have just had KO vs Seth night 1 with the winner getting to interview Austin night 2.

Mania is the ideal place for him to reappear, the impact might be lost on some RAW crowds who can be more casual fans and may not be aware of what Cody has done since he left 5 years ago.

If they’re hyping Austin but deliver Cody thats got to be one of the most major downgrades in Mania history

So regal was given 24hrs to live at the beginning of 2019 due to sepsis in the leg and nearly had to have it cut off.
Exercise and wrestling also kept his heart sack from locking down when he was diagnosed with pericarditis.
Regal is fit and healthy now.

The Hardy Dadz coming out to their 90s WWE theme and wearing tight t-shirts and cargo pants will never not be funny to me. You expect it from Jeff cause he always does the same shit, but Matt's had more creative gimmicks throughout his career.
