On second thought I think I've got the angle all wrong. It's just a plot device for Darby vs Mox and nothing more. I don't see anyone else midcard or above getting involved.

I love how they’ve made MCMG look so strong over these two episodes that the finish to the last match doesn’t diminish the result at all.

She was there 2, 3 years at most? Just came out of a pandemic, company management changes, change in ownership due to a sale, criminal investigation that's still ongoing etc. Sure they might not have seen her in a different role right now but shit don't happen overnight, even Cody had to wait a few years to get his big win and how long did Cole have to do the backstage stuff before moving on to bigger things 🤷🏻♂️.
Absolutely right thing to move on to hopefully better things for her but she just wasn't all that high up the priority list.

Not sure how much room there is in the company right now for someone if they can’t work in the ring. The day of the valet is long gone.
Not really a huge amount of space for progression for announcers. She can move on to announcing other sports I guess, but Buffer still has the biggest plums tied up. Didn’t Lilian Garcia go on to be a singer?

Hopefully she lands on her feet somewhere because she was absolutely tremendous. Getting youtube clips on WWE’s official channel like she did clearly showed they thought she was valuable. Just not at what she wanted to do apparently. I could have seen her getting swept into a storyline along the way. Although the only regular onscreen non-wrestling roles are the GMs and Pearce and Aldiss don’t look like they’d be going anywhere soon. |

They probably could have done something with her and Logan or Bron when they feuded with Ricochet but that's it.
Nxt GM but Ava is doing fine in that role.

It feels like in an alternate timeline Trump could have got his own wrestling promption, become a Mr McMahon character, and happily lived out all his power trip fantasies on screen with all his aging wrestler mates.
Would have been better for everyone. Except maybe any female employees.

I'm guessing she's WWE bound next year. If they aren't getting ready to do another all women's PPV soon then it's a big misfire from HHH/HBK imo.
Don't think they can ever get a hotter division than the one they have now.

Her physique definitely evolved from coming in as a powerlifter to shifting into doing competitive bodybuilding. You can even spot when she has comps coming up because she gets super cut even by her standards.
I don’t understand that world at all though, so have no idea how anyone gets into that shape.
Still, hell of a wrestler and she’s always had presence as well as technique.
