After watching the Vince doc I wouldn't mind him being given a chance with AEW. He seems to be the only sane one in the family and he clearly has a love for wrestling, just keep him out the ring for the most part.

Do we know what creative ideas he had in WWE? I know of Mean Street Posse, Boogeyman and Raw Underground while also being the one to pitch WWE.com.

Around 4 hours got cut due to Vince sounding like a frog.
Might get around to it next week but most feedback online seems to be disappointing and not revealing anything new.

The problem is that Vince is an inconsistent narrator. Not to mention that Bruce, Taker are so far up his arse. Sure, some of these interviews were conducted in 2021, so it’s going to be plonked in front of the boss that made you millions. But, for Bruce, the guy pretty much said that Vince paid for his wife’s cancer treatment. OK Bruce, that’s fine. But, having worked with the man closely for so long, you don’t have any alarm bells?

I think the answer to that is that wrestling right up until basically when Vince stood down was the last big form of entertainment that’s run like its the 1970s still. Did Pritchard have any more alarm bells? I genuinely think not, but I think the reason for that is because in wrestling for a long, long time the good guys were the exception and every bad behaviour imaginable was normalised.
Obviously there’s everything in Dark Side of the Ring, but you’ve got all the mad tales you’d hear on Colt’s podcasts, you’ve got Bret writing in his autobiography about having a regular woman in every town, Owen feeding the boys laxatives as a joke, Taker dishing out punishments in Wrestler’s Court, you’ve got Hugh Morris abusing trainees at NXT, the Japanese dojos always sound brutal, Progress being a noncefest for a time, racists like Hogan, Austin beating his wife, basically everything about Ric Flair . . .
I think no one was thinking Vince was Harvey Weinstein because there is so much mad and bad shit happening all the time, that one more crazy rumour or story just doesn’t register.

After thinking the base game of Fight Forever was a very light on content 2K24 seems to have loads in it. Then you realise you have to grind or pay for about half of it. And the grind looks more like mobile in-game currency grind than just unlocking stuff as you play grind (although it has that too as there are three different tiers of unavailable wrestler in the base game at start up, the third being regular dlc).
Also, even by WWE standards the redacting and retconning in Showcase mode is hilarious/tragic. Blurring out WWF is back but now they’re also censoring Mean Gene’s face, the name Madison Square Garden, the referees in archive match footage and more.
The loading times are some of the worst I’ve experienced in awhile too. Although I do like how good the wrestlers look and move.

Someone needs to make a wrestling game that's actually good and fun to play, probably more arcade leaning like that stylised Legends of WrestleMania game on the 360 which I fucking loved.
Or a modern gameplay but sprite based retro looking gameplay with a fucking stupidly big roster.
It's such a sitter.
Also... Just played an hour of 2K24 and no doubt will sink loads more but yeah, blurring out Mene Geans face is just fucking ridiculous and disrespectful. Pay the royalties you tight bastards, not like you can't afford it.

I'm hoping 2 night SS is a 1 time thing as a sorry for losing out on WM last minute. WM works as its the one event that sees all titles defended.

Yeah wrestling games are short bursts for me now days.
Really want someone to have another crack at Raw 2.
If the devs had delivered it would have been the best wrestling game ever made.
Or make a Def Jam style game with the WWE wrestlers.
Read that AEW are looking for a different studio to make the next game. Not really surprised after the turd Yukes shat out.

He had a lot of say on what got added. But also sounds like the devs took advantage of him.
NXT women's division is getting crazy strong even without Delta(though honestly she could easily be used to cost Rhea at BB. But i reckon Raquel will. )
