Yeah saw that. It got mixed reviews so I didn't bother with it.
But a big budget game with the wrestlers likeness and VAs could be cool. Only issue is you can't guarantee those wrestlers will still be with the company by the time of release.
So maybe just do a MK vs DC style fighter.
2 years since one of the most randomly brilliant insults ever.

Good stuff from MJF and Garcia on Dynamite - probably the best promo Garcia has given so far. Love how MJF seems to let other wrestlers use anything against him (promo-wise) for the sake of building the feud.
The Moxley stuff is intruiging too - guy's beyond due a refresh of his character, really want a full blown sadistic heel Mox. Wish Shafir wasn't a part of it though -_-
Okada/Fletcher was a great match and the ending was decent if a little melodramatic. Always got time for Swerve/Hangman - great wrestlers in their own right who have some incredible chemistry with each other.

Not fuelling any fire, but what's the difference between the length of Swerve/Hangman and Punk/Drew?

A near 6 month break from it?

And I just want to reiterate that I like long feuds. It means something.

Me too. Just didn't find Punk costing McIntyre the title on three separate occasions to be that engaging.

Wow, that's a tough watch. I'll never forget watching Takayama/Frye.

Various reports coming out about All In and how well (or not) it did.
Sold about 30K less tickets than last year (which is dissapointing) but grossed $15 million which is $5 million more than last year. Guessing there were a lot of cheaper tickets last year? Or some good merch sales this year.
Pretty good all in all - just behind the Royal Rumble and not that far off Summerslam. Good for wrestling as a whole.
Above needs taking with a pinch of salt though - net profit is really the key figure.

But their US side is somewhat a concern. Last I heard All Out has sold roughly 6k tickets?

Yeah it's not great.
Having All Out so soon after All In is such a daft decision imo - I thought it was borne out of necessity last year but they've carried on with it this year.

Tony's already talking about Wembley again for 2026 but honestly just leave it. Aim for smaller venues.
The 02 is only around 18k but the atmosphere for SD and MitB last year was fantastic.

Really surprised they've not done Craven Cottage yet.
Agree about the smaller arenas - give me a fully packed 20K venue over a 70% full stadium any day.

Considering they don’t have the mainstream penetration or cultural footprint of WWE being able to run a stadium show two years in a row is an astonishing achievement. And making money rather than slashing prices to fill seats seems a wise business decision.
Is the problem in the US not that they keep hitting the same cities and venues over and over again without big gaps between shows?
Wrestling is more like music than sports when it comes to attendance and only the hardest core of fans will pay full price to see the same band 6+ times a year. You can’t treat the audience like football supporters who will attend Craven Cottage every other week.

Yeah I would have thought he would have done the cottage. Not like he can't book it between seasons.
But yeah smaller venues and a roof any day for me due to the better atmosphere plus you can control how everything looks.
Still annoying that Stings, HHHs and Brays entrances got ruined at WM31 due to the daylight. Plus Rock/HHH/Steph and Ronda having to come out and try and waste time for 20+ minutes for it to get dark before Takers entrance.

Craven Cottage would have been perfect for me about three years ago. Could have got there and back in 20 minutes.

Please - I'm trying to forget that whole Sting/HHH match ever happened. What a fucking travesty.

I thought Sting’s entrance worked ok in the sun. The match was kind if a car crash but whatever, he bounced back. Until Rollins bounced his spine anyway.
But then I do have a soft spot for big outdoor daylight shows because they make me think of grainy footage of territories in the 70s and 80s

I thought HHH’s cosplay era was funny, but it never for one minute made him look like a bad ass. I might be wrong but that WM31 entrance was the first of the “there’s a film coming up - let’s advertise it here” moments.

But what was crazy was that it was a face entrance, when Trip was going in as a heel. That just got more confused when the NWO and DX ran in and there was so much overlap that I forgot who was on whose side. And then the wrong guy went over.

I mean.. it's better than Adam Cole's Master Chief cosplay

One of my favourites is Omega at WK17. There's no Final Fantasy fan on the planet who wouldn't do that if they could.
Really liked HHH's entrance at WM32 but that was more due to Steph's contribution. Dom's entrance at WM 39 was a cracker too.

Haven’t seen that, but what could be wrong about an 170 lbs soaking wet man dressing as a 7ft tall behemoth?
I won’t lie, I love a cosplay. Rey’s Wrestlemania outfits were always cool. Zelina Vega can cosplay rent free as far as I’m concerned, Alexa Bliss has basically built her career off a Harley Quinn cosplay, and Kenny Omega doing Sans is about the one time that I believed in him.
Hell, Dolph Ziggler couldn’t decide if he wanted to cosplay as Shawn Michaels or Billy Gunn. And neither one worked.

Yeah not a good look for Cole. Not helped by going to the wrong side of the ring and realising too late he wasn't facing the hardcam side.
HHH has some cool intros. The conan the barbarian one which also featured Charlotte, Mone and Bliss under masks was good.
Vega has had some great outfits over the years.
