Yep.
Hell in a cell is the only way to end this feud.

Drew really needs to be feuding with Cody, the Punk feud is getting a bit tedious now - they really going to drag this out with Drew interfering in Punks title match. This is where I'm at. Was red hot a few months ago but they've dragged it out too long and I've pretty much lost interest now.

Maybe Drew should wrestle a random Japanese wrestler we haven't heard of.
OH NO I DIDN'T.

It’ll be time for Survivor Series soon enough which feels like a decent reset point if they don’t do the right thing and wrap the feud up earlier.

They've only had a few matches. I think it feels longer, because of Punk screwing Drew so many times.

It's basically been going since the Rumble.
Drews in an odd place after bad blood though in that I can't see who he feuds with next. I'm going to guess Punk will win the next match and then likely face Gunther at SS. If he feuds with Cody fine but don't want to see him keep losing title matches again.

I'm trying to guess who's going to 'retire' Danielson (from full time competition anyway). I wouldn't mind Swerve doing it - it'd really put a stamp on his rise to the main event. Ditto Hangman. Ospreay is an option but I don't think he needs it. Same goes for MJF. Moxley doing it would make for a great story, especially if it means him transitioning into a sadistic, full blown heel. A year or so ago I would've said Omega without a doubt. Doesn't have a win over Danielson and they have unfinished business. Not sure how long he's got left though and like others he probably doesn't need it. If he was a full time AEW wrestler I'd go with Zack Sabre Jr - it writes itself. Batista needs his win back from WM30 too

I think I’d prefer it to be someone who’d get some actual rub from it.
For me Moxley would be like having Brock beat Taker, no one really gains from it. Swerve or Hangman would absolutely be elevated by it, maybe MJF too but I’m not sure he really needs it. Osprey and ZSJr would both be great matches but I don’t think AEW would follow through on either of them leading the company which is the kind of position retiring Bryan could give someone.
Its a tough one because Danielson is one of my absolute all timers so I don’t want him to go out for nothing even if I know his health means he needs to wind it down.
Obviously the true nightmare scenario would be Jericho but even Tony Khan wouldn’t book that match, would he?

I'm not sure it's going to be a huge rub as it's only retiring from full time competition (and he'll still be kicking around) but I definitely get your point.
A curve ball could be Jay White - I don't really rate him out of the ring but he needs something to kickstart his AEW career and he's certainly good enough to go in the ring with Danielson.
Darby's name has been bandied about but I really don't think that'd work. Takeshita would give us an amazing match but there'd be no follow through.
I wonder if he'll have any say in it? Hope not or we're looking at Wheeler Yuta -_-

Watch them have Perry beat him.
White could definitely do with it but at the same time he needs some serious rebuilding before that. Cole would have been a good choice IMO but is he planned to return this year?

If Perry had the right attitude he’s in a spot now that beating Danielson could put a real rocket under him. I’m just not sure if I’d trust him to understand exactly what he’s been given.

I’d just get Baron Corbin to do the honours.

But seriously I think MJF is the only one who could pull off retiring him. That would be fuel for a long time. Not that he needs it, but I think there’s an element of him becoming stale, if he doesn’t do something big.

He should feud with Ospreay for another six months, that'll freshen him up

Seriously though I wouldn't give it to MJF - guy can get over any time he wants and the rub wouldn't have much of an effect. He already beat Danielson in an ironman match, too.
I'd go Swerve or Hangman. Big enough to do it but not big enough that they wouldn't benefit from it.

It would make no sense at all for Punk to win/finish the feud. You're basically burying your only decent heel. I am get the feeling they probably wanted to finish it earlier but Seth's injury probably delayed things.

Its a shame we can’t hear what the tech nerds had to say to direct these sequences
It was broadly rubbish but I loved this game.

Now saying Jones has been charged for domestic violence.
As for Cody, I would like a Kross feud. HHH hasn't really done anything with him since bringing him back but I think him and Cody could work well together.

Oof - that's one of the quickest self-immolations after receiving a push I've seen in wrestling. Only Gabe Stevenson and Teddy Hart come close. No wonder Xavier Woods was so uneasy around him...

I think its for either throws or for them struggling while held up in a Gorilla Press. Possibly both, it was a digitised fighting game afterall.

Yeah they did it when frown from the ring and so on.
Be good if WWE got a bit loose with the games and allowed someone to make a fighting game with them. Not like the are against killing either with the recent COD pack.
Maybe even an RPG or action adventure game.
