When was I mad? I've said plenty of times Meltzer is simply a fraud and bad for the business and I'll stand by that. Tony helped with the issues online by trying to use Daves ratings in defense for low attendance and viewer ratings and now many cling on to them. Mad at ratings no. Time for anyone that claims someone would fake cancer? Fuck no. Saying "one big issue", saying he flat out lies and taking umbridge with him not giving Kurt a 5* match sounds like you're a bit miffed to say the least but I'll take your word for it. If anything your problem is with TK. The bolded part of your post is classic misinformation. I assume you're talking about Reigns? Find a direct transcript - this was part of a much larger discussion where Meltzer was talking about why fans were questioning why Roman was able to come back so quickly. He speculated whether the drug Reigns took for leukemia was one primarily used for chemotherapy or not. That's pretty much it, he was wrong, corrected himself on that and apologised. The only reason he mentioned it was due to the conspiracy theory idiots saying he never had cancer and Dave trying to defend Roman and his quick recovery in his own stupid, bumbling way. At no time did he ever question the legitimacy of Roman's condition. No him not giving kurt a single 5 star match shows how pointless they are. He also corrected himself on Roman after people like Nia blasted him. No conspiracy idiots just one who constantly talks without sources like he did just the other week with Afa. |

You said Meltzer claimed Roman was faking cancer (which is a horrific claim) and I've shown that isn't the case, now you're moving the goalposts. Do you still think he said Roman faked his cancer? Can you please point me to what you're basing that on?
Meltzer wasn't the only one who reported Afa's death early (Wrestlezone among other sites did) but he's the only one who gets called out for it. Agree that he fucked up and should've apologised to both his readers and especially the family. That was shitty journalism.

He flat out said Roman wasn't telling the truth(in regards to having 0 energy and so on because according to Dave he was filming a movie for 3 months which wasn't true) and that the pills he was taking weren't for chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
But whatever, Dave has been caught out spreading so much false information for years it's comical now.
Apparently not only does WWE know the exact details of Swerves new contract but told Dave it was bad for the business and he was being over paid.

So he didn't say Roman faked his cancer, he was incorrect when trying to explain his treatment as I said - glad we cleared that up. Show me a wrestling reporter/jouralist who hasn't published bullshit - it's in the industry's blood. A fair few in this thread have posted info from dirtsheets over the years which has turned out to be bollocks. Hell, the last sentence of your post was a source saying that to Fightful Select, not Meltzer  |

Another good PPV last night. Twice in a row, we really are spoilt.
Being a Punk mark, the strap match was superb. Great story telling. Enjoyed all the matches, perhaps not the KO/Cody, mainly because it just does nothing for me story wise. The match was OK. Cody really needs a good feud, not his mates getting a title shot.

You’ve got Bron, Cody and Gunther who all are considered long term title holders, right? I can’t see anyone who challenges them taking their titles. I am interested in where they see Bronson Reed, as he’s on the warpath, he needs a pay off, otherwise why feed him so many? |

Someone like Reed would be the perfect feud for Cody. But for me he would also need to win. Even if it was only for a short reign.
Punks done an interview saying he's coming for the WHC but I can't see them just dropping the feud with Drew and surly they have a 3rd match at Bad Blood.
Dragunov hasn't been built up to challenge Gunther on the main roster yet. Don't need Gunther/Sami again unless it's to have him avenge the WM loss.
If he's due back soon I could see Seth being Gunther's next feud.

HHH needs to move the company away from putting the belt on part timers and Rock/Roman doesn't need the belt added to it.

NXT is thriving and whatever Vince's 2.0 was is long dead.
Ridge Holland clearly called up way too soon has improved massively since going back.
Though the tag match alone had about 5 spots that should be ending matches only for kick outs at 2.
Even the Doomsday Device is unprotected. It's still my biggest issue with wrestling today and you can probably count on 1 hand the number of protected finishers.
Lee saying fuck it when the announce table broke and slightly adjusting the spot was good to see. Often see wrestlers panic and get lost or try to make something else up and botch it.
Oba is a beast and it will be interesting to see how much of Giulia's moveset is allowed to carry over.
Can the next 2K game just be WWE vs TNA? No legend's just fill the roster with current wrestlers from both companies.

Its astonishing how lucky Mark Dallas was with ICW when you look at wrestling now and see how many of its alumni are still making it.
Drew, Joe Hendry, both of Unholy Union, all three of Gallas, Balor, Alastair Black, Grado is a national treasure now. All of them in and around the company at the same time.
