I don't really see what's in it for Nolan other than fanboyishly saying "I got to make a James Bond". He's already done exceptional "Bond-y" scenes in Batman and Inception, and I would have thought that being bound by such a tight, controlling franchise wouldn't be up his alley anymore.
But - hey! - he's a great director so it'd be cool and all.

That would incredibly strange having already made three parody Bond films.
It would signal a step back towards ‘fun’ Bond which I’m not necessarily against but I think humour in Bond is best when it’s extremely dry.

I'm not all that interested in seeing Nolan make Bond. This might be controversial but I don't think his action set pieces are all that good in general, and his most "Bond" film, Tenet, was utterly shit.
I'd prefer Vaughn as a director. Whilst he has made Bond spoofs it doesn't necessarily mean these would be the same time. His first film was Layer Cake which was fairly gritty and dry (and was one of the films that made everyone consider Craig as Bond).
Vaughn's next film is Argyle though which is another spy thriller that I know nothing about, but at the least sounds less outright comedic than the Kingsmen films, so not sure how keen he'd be to helm that many spy adventures.

Get Dalton back as old man Bond. Alternate timeline of course because everything is about multiverse these days.

I'd be happy with Nolan as he'd do cold, killer spy really well. And we'd probably get R Patz for Bond.

He's definitely got the humourless self-serious vibe and mostly shallow female characters down pat.

Anyway still hoping Dan Stevens gets the gig Dan Stevens so hot right now I've still got a £5 bet at some bookie somewhere at 500/1 on Tom Felton which I put on over 10 years ago (or whenever the last Harry Potter film was). I can't remember who the bookie was but I think that won't really matter...

Spy thriller where Nolan creates the overall plot and Jess Armstrong fills the script with absolutely dry, awful cuntish humour.
Pattison or Boyega as Bond. Make him one of those cunts who's arrogant because he's really fucking good at the job.

They won't do it, but I think doing it as a period piece would be good. Go back to him being in service during the cold war.
No idea who would be good as Bond or directing it. They always seem pretty good at not going for the pick everyone is talking about.

"This watch, Bond, let's you skip back in time by 5 minutes. Use it wisely. Wait, how have you already got the watch on...? BOND!"

Make Bond Racist Again

I saw this Twitter post a year ago where someone pointed out that you've had an actor who's played Bond once, one who's played Bond twice, etc, all the way up to Moore playing Bond seven times.
Except no one's ever played Bond three times and three times only.
This guy proposed that you cast someone specifically to make a trilogy of Bond films and then that's it, right from the off you're open about it only being three films with an interconnected story, and then you're done.
I really like that approach and if Nolan or whoever is gonna take it on, then I think that's what they should do. Plus you get to complete a weird pyramid of Bond actors.

That's a good Bond title.
James Bond in "3 Times and 3 Times Only".
"Come back to bed James."
"No. I told you, 3 times and 3 times only. Now shut up, Enoch Powell is on TV and he's about to make a speech."

Plus there’s already music out there that’ll fit with just a couple of word changes for the theme. Jennifer Hudson can even reprise it.
You've got three times only, three times only That's all you have to spare Three times only Let's not pretend to care Three times only, three times only Come on, Bond baby, come on Three times only We only have 'til dawn
Actually we’ve pretty much got this. Let’s film it ourselves.

I would honestly still give Guy Richie a go. I really can’t be arsed with another po-faced entry, especially a Nolan one.

Everyone being from London and a cheeky chappie would be just as bad. And he'd someone like Charlie Hunam as Bond.

The Man From UNCLE was a pretty fun spy romp. Tonally, I think he got it spot on, sex pervert cannibal notwithstanding.
