I think
1 - he was just satirising the other stroppers
or
2 - the internet has been wobbling a bit today, he may have hit a pothole and assumed a ban
and
3 - if he isn't banned, he should be unless he says who his avatar is, because it looks to me like Michael O'Hare would have looked if he was still around, and he isn't and that is sad, and we need to know who it actually is

Could ban his IP but that’s never really that consistent. I personally vote we stop giving two shits about him and let him go on his merry way.

That just makes you see ads though. I was signed out earlier, got here just fine but saw ads, signed in and they were gone.
I blame flaky internet- I was blocked from Fontgeek by the work firewall today, but it was definitely some kind of bug because it was fine after a restart

Unless you're a spam bot or overtly racist (without it being a bit or sarcasm) I doubt anyones getting banned. Given we are asexual and unable to produce new forumites we're a precious commodity. With any luck we might absorb a few new people like our Italian cousins to add a little gusto to our simmering cauldron of middle aged stew.
As for Wayne I've never really had or noticed an issue, I'm probably on a few peoples watch list for my opinions on EG so kind of welcome a different view point, provided the individuals intentions aren't simply to troll.

My daughter would give this place a look of withering scorn and then laugh about it with her mates on WhatsApp... but my 10yo son has potential. Maybe I can pass the forumite mantle to him in another 20 or so years before I cark it.

Rock Paper Shotgun forum had their "Sunsetting" speech from Craigy last week and after asking "who's this craigy guy" they settled into and action plan. Craigy then returned to explain who he was and directed them to FontGeek.io .
I re-registered to vouch for FontGeek as they were concerned it wouldn't fit their needs but don't know if it did any good.
