Top 3. No Hitler, Stalin, other massively genocidal wankers.
Who does and what/who benefits?

Info needed: can we kill the parents/ancestors of assorted genocidal wankers?
Also are Trump, the Muskrat, Zuck and the like also too obvious to be targets?

I'd go back and kill my own ancestor, I think it'd be funny to see what happens.

I have a list. It's troublingly lengthy
Man I'd love a deathnote.
Though mostly contemporary.
I've got it, mitochondrial Eve. Would save everyone a lot of bother.

Who do we have to kill to ensure we got the last season of My Name is Earl?

I fixed your comment.
"Come & See" has a good scene at the end where the boy keeps shooting at a portrait of Hitler seemingly reversing history in the process.

If I kill Thomas Edison at just the right moment, can I get Nikola Tesla to even greater heights in his own lifetime? I reckon he'd have had a crack at cleaner energy if he wasn't fighting with Edison. Slight risk that we'll end up living in BioShock but I'll take it.

Do we have to murder? Could we just make sure that their parents don't meet or something? Or get in there first and seduce their mum...

Shakespeare. No one really needs to read King Lear today. I'd be doing every schoolchild a favour.

Rauper.
I’d probably be an international playboy and CEO of World Corp by now if I hadn’t spent the last 20yrs hitting F5 and discussing the merits of Alien 3.

Not sure I'd do it, really. The implications are huge. Yes, I'd possibly kill Osama Bin Laden because I think the world irrevocably changed post 9/11 and went down a much more pessimistic path.
But I wouldn't kill anyone from before I was born.
Maybe the dude who killed a family member, before he did it.

I dunno about murdering them, per se, but I do think we'd all be much better off if certain people's parents - Trump, Johnson, Farage, Musk, Zuckerberg, etc. - had never procreated. A bit of Back to the Future-style meddling should do just fine.

The counter argument is that for every jerk we get rid of and for all the horrible acts they've done, some other cunt would probably have just done the same thing.
So I just say we keep things simple. The ginger prick from my school who made life that little bit harder than it needed to be. HAd absolutely zero impact on the world other than that and his removal from the timeline would be the equivalent of spraying some febreeze on one tiny section of the planet from 1993-2000.

I'd kill Jesus and Mohammad and all the prophets then steal all their best ideas and stay back in that time period and build a massive following and have a religion named after me.
