No, I started from Financial Dsitrict as supposed to and only used web gliding and got all the way to the island at Astoria without touching anything. I'll try again, but I'm sure I did it correctly (even double checking afterwards with a guide).

The main trophy that was a pain for me during the mop up was the taking out enemies with spider arm abilities. Turns out I must have barely used them during the game, as I only had 50. Took me almost an hour of swinging around doing crimes (which wasn't too bad, as I didn't do many in the main game, so I would have missed out on the random team-ups). Would have been a lot easier if I still had some bases to do though.
Besides that though, it was pretty straightforward clearing up. Very glad there wasn't anything like having to get a bunch of the tech crates. You don't even need to gold medal the Mysteriums, which I was fully expecting to have to do.

Aye, that was one of my gripes with the game. You obviously equip new powers as you unlock them, so that one won't progress unless you switch back to spider arms. Surely all abilities should've progressed it.

The worst trophy for me were the Web takedowns. I had to do about 10 post game and it's a bit of a pain doing them on the main map.

Yeah, so much easier to do this once you can do two perch takedowns at a time using your web zip lines - loved clearing Hunter blinds and bases using this method, did a fair few only by doing this. Makes for some great photos of all these webbed up goons hanging in mid-air  Got the platinum the other night, only needed an extra hour or zipping round the city doing all the crime alerts to knock off the remaining combat trophies. Now the map is clear of quests etc, I let my six year old daughter have a go the other day (I'm not letting her do the combat as I think even the human enemies with guns and swords etc are too much for her, let alone the symbiotes, that's asking for trouble at night), and she got to grips with the traversal pretty damn quickly. |

Yeah, I loved doing that too. There didn't seem to be a limit to the web lines you could have, so each hunter base ended up as a ridiculous criss crossed mess of web lines with hunters dangling from them. Probably my favourite part of the game, and that trophy pinged for me very early on.

I was very confused to see that people said there was a lack of stealth. From what I could see there's a bunch of stealth situations if you wanted there to be.

Is DLC likely for this?
Thinking about taking my disc copy to CEX while the prices are good but I'll hang on to it if there's the prospect of more content,

There was a few for the first so I imagine so. But they did release the bigger DLC on disc  |

Thinking about taking my disc copy to CEX while the prices are good but I'll hang on to it if there's the prospect of more content, The director of the game seems to be hinting at Daredevil a lot in relation to this game, so I'm going to say yeah they're most likely making DLC. |

Disappointing, but with everything they've got cooking it's hardly surprising. Plus it wasn't on the leaked roadmap IIRC.
I would've definitely been up for a return to that city, but just don't see the point of coming back to an open world game that I've completed 100% already.

Nice to see news on the PC version. Even more reason to not bother spending lots on the PS5 Pro. Might double dip when there is a decent sale. Do feel I could be ready for a replay sometime next year.
I had been hoping that a replay would have been accompanied by the release of some DLC though. Shame they seem to be skipping this time.
