If they're using the same Music, same Logo and same Hogwarts, are they really going to retell the same story with different actors? Isn't that just weird? It’s the only way to make money from it, I suppose. They probably couldn’t get the cast back together for the cursed child, nobody gives a shit about fantastic beasts and there’s nothing else to adapt. So the only thing left is to stuff all the other crap back into the thing people actually liked. |

It'd be really easy to keep the music, hogwarts, etc.. and just have New Adventures with the next grade of hogwarts kids. The world is all built, and it'd be really hard to screw that up.
Bring back as many of the old reasonably priced professors as possible, maybe even get the OG kid actors to cameo as their older selves.
I feel like if they're going to retell the same story, they need to differentiate it from the originals.
Maybe they will and it's just a misleading teaser to drum up interest.

Bit baffled why they're doing the books over again when there's a ton of other stories they could tell and just call the thing 'Hogwarts' or something.
Could focus on the Hogwarts founders or the first Triwizard cup - anything involving the school really.

They are probably caught between the fact that nobody gives a shit about anything other than the main books and JKR wanting some level of creative control on any other project which they dont want to give.
