I’m sorry, but I think that’s ridiculous. The ball didn’t change direction and no advantage was gained. VAR is ruining this and I don’t hold a candle for Belgium.

The defender is all over him, of course his arms aren't going to be in a natural position. Guy is trying to fend off the player and his arm springs slightly away from his body. The path of the ball barely fucking changed as well.

Actually seeing that again, the ball may have crossed more into the defenders path but for the handball. Accidental, but he benefited from the touch.
Lescott with the incredibly boring 'you have to played the game' line on it. Honestly that should be an instant pundit yellow card for banal idiocy. Why stop there? Let's make sure every VAR has a biomechanics PhD as they'd really know what natural is.
Is the 'natural position' thing still even relevant? I lose track with all the different reworkings.

I think you need a component for interpretation for handball. It looks like it barely brushed his fingers by accident, its not like he gave it the full Henry to steer the ball.
