Probably and I bet even with Marvel money stretchy powers would still look shite

I still think the main reason is to avoid having to explain what an Inhuman is.

^ er??
Episode 2 of Ms Marvel continued to be fun. It's firmly in the 'teen drama' ballpark, but the actors, style and unfamiliar culture elevate it.
Not such a fan of the Dr Strange style 'jump on platforms' move. Oh well.
Vote Naks!

Your occasional reminder that technically he's already been played by Nathan Fillion in the MCU.

Fillion's stuff was all cut from GOTG Vol. 2, wasn't it?

If it was Fillion, I'd suddenly gain some interest.
Apparently it's an old character that's been around for years, but it does just come across as a cheap riff on Wonder Woman.

I suppose so to the average person but obviously he ain't. I always found to him be somewhat of a joke character really and I imagine because of the writers involved this is the theme they're going for, essentially bit part actor gets superpowers and becomes mildly famous off the back of it. Maybe we're getting West Coast Avengers with US Agent, She Hulk and Wonder Man.

It was cut cos it didn’t fit the film’s pacing.

Just FYI, but the kindle Ms Marvel graphic novels are pretty cheap on amazon uk at the moment. 75p for the first one, 1.59 for the others. Link for the first one here: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NEW45XEI'm not sure if the 5th one is part of the story, or her meeting other MCU heroes. FYI: The first one or two are free on Kindle Unlimited or might be free on Kids+... it's all very confusing and seems to vary, but you might want to check. These are To Buy though. Not sure if it's a time limited sale, but I'm sure they were more than that last time I looked.

There's a lot of shit characters in West Coast Avengers so that'll be fun. Maybe the Oceanographer superhero Stingray.

WCA as the closing to phase four/opening of phase five has been mooted since WandaVision rocked up White Vision and the VisionQuest storyline.

Why the hell is almost every marvel movie available to rent on amazon, but Captain America 1 is only to buy?!

Probably makes more sense to just sub to D+ for a month if you want to watch Marvel stuff.

True, but if I do that then it becomes a battle to stop my kids watching all the Disney shows all day every day.

True, but if I do that then it becomes a battle to stop my kids watching all the Disney shows all day every day. Isn't there a load of stuff they'll wanna watch anyway, like on YouTube or whatever? I tend to find D+ shows are preferable to some other things out there (especially as mine have outgrown the loveliness of CBeebies).

I’m slightly dreading the torrent of shite I’m in for when mine outgrows CBeebies in the couple of years

Now is the time to manipulate them into watching what you want. 1 evening a week I force them to watch something other than endless rewatches of Bing, duggee and Bluey and I pick it.

Now is the perfect time to introduce them to early Sam Raimi films.

There are a lot of programmes on Netflix that are “just adverts not the whole programme” or that “we don’t have at our house” that we’ve coached him out of asking for

If you shop with Tesco they had a clubcard deal for 3 months for £6 of vouchers. Grabbed a couple of those to top up the free year I got with a tablet.
