I'm still stuck on biome 1! Lol

Can get to the boss easy enough but no joy is to be had there.

Should I keep pumping ether into the stone by the ship? Or save it.... there's a room I've seen every now and then that costs 6 ether for a statue but not sure what it does?

Played it back when I got my PS5 and loved it. Probably best game for me on the PS5 (Demon's Souls was also great, although a remake so doesn't really count, and Spider-Man 2 I loved, but felt very much more of the same).

Only real difficulty stumbling block I recall was in biome 3. Think it was those suicide bots that would constantly kill me. Everything else, I wouldn't say was easy, but certainly manageable. So, I'm probably the mythical person that would say it wasn't super easy, but not hugely hard either.

I've downloaded for a replay that I'll start on the weekend. Very few games I'll actually replay and it seems long enough since my first play through.

It’s worth going for a full or near full clear so you’re tooled up for the boss.

The first one more than any isn’t worth rushing back to or he will just clap your cheeks.

Yeah this. It’s never worth rushing to a boss in any biome before you’ve tooled up a bit in both health and weapons (plus consumables if poss). It’s not worth it as it’s too easy to get destroyed.

Oh the tower is fun. Just beat the first phase.

I did 25 cycles in that first god forsaken section. After that it took 2 runs to get to the credits. I think every boss I was 1-2 hits away from death. Also you’ve got to love you a mini astronaut.

Yeah if I forget the first area I enjoyed my other 2 runs. That last run was a blast as I never had to repeat anything and it was fun and challenging having to beat each area blind. Hyperion was my highlight boss, especially that epic music and just a great boss. I wish you could just fight the bosses again from the menu. I think my favourite area was the final area though. Nice and creepy and hectic. I was so desperate to not die again.

I’ve YouTube check what I need to do. Get an item from each area to see the proper ending right? I think I will probably do that. Also watched good video explaining the story and that makes things even better. I think I will try and beat the tower as well.

Is it just me or all the slow fire grenade launcher, rocket type guns are utterly useless in most situations? I’ve tried them a few times and I feel they need to do way more damage considering how their range and fire rates are so limited.

I’ve been limited to the machine gun and hollow gun which is basically a machine gun with bells and whistles. Also tried the red net firing thing which seems to be good but only used it once for a bit.

Unless you get an item that heals with kills etc I can not believe how rare heal items are considering you can only withstand a few big hits before death. In that last world nearly all heal items were cursed. I was stuck with this one weapon as it was the only way I could heal in the whole area. Doesn’t encourage aggression which I feel the game should promote as its movement is very good. It’s just too risky to get stuck in.
