I mean, the central plot is basically two women fighting over a guy so I dont know if I would go quite as far as 'strong female lead'.

Ha that's just reminded me what it's actually about. Is everyone trying to fuck Jimmy Olsen?

Never heard of Tammy and the T Rex but it has Denise Richards and a dinosaur, so it's automatically better than most films. You could have stopped right there

Literally super, literal girl! Whadayou femmo types even want? I’m makin’ movies here, you’re botherin’ me kid.”

R.I.P.D is in with a shout with how they convinced some of the cast to join this MiB bargain basement knockoff. Watched it when it was released and thought it was crap. Caught the end sequence tonight and its laughably bad, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon must have had that wiped from their memories.

Up there with the new Hellboy when it comes to how they managed to make a fun concept such a slog to watch. Just a confusing, incoherent mess.

Think all that was the tail end of the "adapt every comic we can find" phase. Jonah Hex was another one.

There's a wild west themed prequel to RIPD that just came out too. Half tempted to watch it to see if it's as bad as the last one.
Hellboy is great though.

I think we're still in the Adapt Every Comic We Can Find phase. The Old Guard Sandman Warrior Nun etc...

I don’t know those other things, but a Sandman adaptation must have been in the works for for 25 years at least. Not some random thing Hollywood suddenly grabbed from the IP bin.

I don't disagree with overall sentiment, but Sandman is not exactly a random IP.
Also the adaptation was actually decent, which helps. It probably found further traction after Good Omens was a success.

Oh, Jesus. Thought someone was dissing the GDT one for a minute there. Yeah, the new one is utter tripe.

I'm going to restrict myself to cinema trips, as watching them on TV its way easier to just switch shit off, or read a book. So terrible movies I've seen (as opposed to ones that just make me angry like nu-Trek or Rise of Skywalker - though they are dreadful in many technical ways):
She's All That The Man in the Iron Mask Titanic - which probably isn't probably that bad but these all have in a common thread of teenage dating and we were just openly laughing by the time DiCaprio died.
So actual shit I voluntarily saw: Battle Los Angeles or Michael Bay's Transformers, which are both total shit.

I still stand by Transformers 2 being the worst movie ever.

I couldn't face the others after that one. At least they were probably shorter. I hope.
Except Bumblebee, that's great.

I watched Geostorm last night, which could be a contender. Nothing about it makes any sense. Greenland at least had some character motivation and some of the science behind the 'plot' was at least plausible. But Geostorm just stinks from top to tail.

That's not even the worst Transformers though. I thought 2 had the most egregious excesses, but it's a difficult tie between that and The Last Knight.

Why would anyone willingly have watched another after watching 2?!!

Recall that having a similarly terrible game accompany its release. Back in the days when tie ins were to be expected with every new film. As expected as them being lazy, uniformly woeful cash-ins.

I enjoyed the first Bay one enough to note that of they leaned into the stuff that worked, and addressed the stuff that didn’t, sequels could be better.
When people and reviews said the sequels were shit though, I believed it and didn’t bother. Did eventually watch Bumblebee though, which met a standard.
