The only film I've ever walked out on in the cinema was Species, so on that metric it wins.

I hasten to add, I've watched many many far more awful films in my time, way to many to even contemplate the worst.

Ah, so like they thought they'd be getting say, Avatar or the Hunger Games but instead...

Did we have Baz Lurhman's Romeo and Juliet yet? Because other than Mercutio it's a proper hangover shit of a movie.

The second Transformers movie, whatever it's called. It goes on for like 4 hours of rambling plotless excruciating 'comedy' and interminable incomprehensible action scenes. I imagine if you were on drugs it might be mindblowing. Always gives me a chance to post my favorite movie review though. gizmodo.com/michael-bay-finally-made-an-art-movie-5301898

I keep forgetting about it, probably in part because the sequel was actually really good, but Suicide Squad should be held up in the worst superhero film ever category on account of how absolutely inept it was on every level.
At least Superman IV had a baddie, not just Cara Delavigne being a bit wiggly.

Nah its still better than Morbius and Thor 2. Though that's a very low bar.

I think we're doing Thor 2 nest week, but I don't remember it being half as bad as Suicide Squad. Just kinda meh.

Thor 2 was bottom tier MCU content. But it’s still a thousand times better than Suicide Squad.
Fucks sake remember when it was raining inside? What fuckery was that?
Haven’t seen Morbius. But honestly, a Sony produced film based on a fairly obscure Spider-Man villain…and starring Hared Leto? can’t blame me.

Tbh, even the worst superhero things I've seen have been bad in a "meh, I'm probably not going to remember anything about this in a year" way, not a "everyone involved in this should be put on trial for crimes against taste" way.
I honestly prefer the latter experience. It usually makes for a good story, even if it's rage-inducing in the moment.

I nominate Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. The trailer is pretty amazing though.

Oh God I’d forgotten about that. Mortal Kombat Abomination.
I think my favourite bit in it is when Nightwolf tells Liu Kang he must pass three tests to unlock his Animality (fucks sake). If I remember rightly he does two of them and then they totally forget to do the third one. Clearly they got too distracted by Scorpion leaping into a portal saying “Suckerrrrrrs!” (Again, never to be seen again).
The special effects are just deliciously shit.

Superman IV is indeed awful. I also remember being taken by my uncle to see Jaws 3D. It was shit even to a 10 year old. Jaws 3 isn’t that bad imo. Think it gets heavily criticised for being a Jaws sequel and is therefore held to a higher standard, but it’s better than most Jaws wannabes. The Revenge is truly terrible.

I used to like it when I was a kid but I watched it not too long ago and the dodgy 3D bits and bad special effects pretty much ruin it. But yeah Revenge is way worse.

Yeah the effects are terrible as is some of the acting. But it’s a shlocky b-movie so that’s kind of par for the course. Structurally it whips along and there’s a couple of cool set pieces. It’s far from a good film, but it’s also not utterly terrible.
