The surfer/zabu nerf makes sense but it's slightly entering the territory of paying 8 quid for a month of super cards, before they get nerfed when the shit munchers get them.
In some respects it makes sense. You pay for the decent cards early and then if your f2p you get them eventually but not as powerful.
Where it falls slightly is that for anyone wanting to rank up to infinate on f2p its hard. Not impossible but hard.

It's a bit of a relief that I'm not a fan of most of the contents of this season pass. Not much of a disgard player.
I'll probably still buy it for the gold etc rather than the cards, when I'm up at around level 40 or so.
Though March's season pass looks good, with Nimrod and the Wolverine variant

I assume MODOK is so powerful that any discard decks have to have him to remain competitive? Although presumably you'd already need to have Morbius played, and Apocalypse in your hand, or you'd be hoping for a lucky draw on turn 6

Though with the gold and credits and how awesome that variant is, I think it'll probably be €40.

Back down to 20 after the reset, and already had a couple of games against absolute idiots.
Just had a great game where the cards just landed right.
Started with Misty Knight on the left, nothing from opponent on turns 1 or 2. On turn 3 I add Storm on top of Misty and despair when I see them play Lockjaw, followed by Wasp and something else low cost, ending up with Vision and Jane Foster.
Looks like I'm loosing. But. The middle location is The Superflow (+1), and I manage to end up with Patriot, Blue Marvel and Onslaught in the 3rd location - the left is getting buffed but still not there. Opponent's had Jubilee pull Giganto in the middle on turn 6 and they have added Nightcrawler - 17 there and no cards from me.
They snap.
Final turn and I pull out Thing, and having already got Mystique in my hand, I place her on the right with the others, and Thing in the middle. They play Devil Dino on the right but it's game over. I've snapped and end up with all 3 bases won. 81 points to there 50.

Stupid as if it was another 5 quid jubilee sort of thing I would have paid that. Or at least let me buy it with gold that I already earnt. |

Just had a hilarious game where someone played Wong and Mystique on onslaughts citadel, then played gambit and hazmat on the final turn.
They would've easily won with just gambit, but ended at at -15 / -19 on the two locations they'd played cards on.

I'm happy with the results. I had bought Arnim Zola with my hard earned tokens earlier and Electro was the card that popped up afterwards and I was going to pin him, so I was happy to get him through a collector's reserve. Saved me 1000 tokens.

Made a throwaway 1 cost deck with killmonger and death for one of the missions, and had a match with a player using a discard deck.
I was winning the middle location, and had two points on the right location which was Vormir (due to mr fantastic). I had thrown Ironheart there early in the game.
So the poor fella had spent the game getting Apocalypse to 20 power and put it on Vormir...and was instantly sacrificed.
My Mr fantastic won me the match. Felt so bad for them as I was basically just going through the motions of playing 1 cost cards

Not sure if true but apparently Jeff the Baby Landshark is coming - 2 cost 3 power, nothing can stop this being played as long as there is space. Presumably ignores Flood, Professor X, Sanctum Sanctorum. Heard an idea that maybe you could play it on your opponent's side of the board?

I spent every token I had (3000) in the shop to get Shuri. Having an absolute blast with my Zola/Panther deck. Managed to get Panther up to 48 on 2 lanes more than once. Edit: LOL  |

This had to be a bot. There is no way they didn't read the room. I was telegraphing from turn 3 what I was doing with patriot. Turn 4 Mystique and a snap because I had all the cards I needed in hand. Then they snapped. Turn 5 Blue Marvel ... Turn 6 Ultron.  |
