I've never known what to make of that particular YouTube guy. Is he supposed to be a parody of clickbait, rage-driven content creators? Is he trying to have his cake and eat it too? Is he just an enormous asshole? It's proper weird holding your stream hostage to likes. I saw another one where they'd keep streaming for up to 48 hours if people kept giving them money
It's such a weird dynamic where they act like your friend but are actively exploiting people in a very overt way. They'll also say things like 'it really supports the channel' instead of 'because I want money' and 'let's see if we can make it to 400 subs', it's not 'we'

People who contribute to live chat fascinate me. What do they get out of it?
It's going a million miles an hour and your message is on screen for a nanosecond.

Pretty much, someone acknowledges your existence when you donate and I guess it's the feeling of community which i guess people do want to be part of something. I don't think everyone who are on group chats are lonely but it's clear that someone repeatedly donating lots of money to a streamer or someone on Onlyfans is lacking some form of human contact in their lives.

I think the streamer can pause/slow down/scroll through the comments and respond at will. My daughter got a mention on some celeb singer stream so was thrilled obv.

I saw a stream where someone was selling Valentine's Day cards with a choice of colour for the lipstick print inside. Encouraging creeper behaviour for a few extra quid is something

Did mean I could use one and keep one

Plenty of my kev/casual/virgin/minging/whatever insult I've missed white socks available though.

I know absolutely nothing about this, I wasn't doing video games whenever this came out. Why did they remake this and not the first one?

I know absolutely nothing about this, I wasn't doing video games whenever this came out. Why did they remake this and not the first one? The second one is generally classed as an iconic game, mainly for the psychological factors with the story as it unfolds. If you play it all the way through, there's a point later on that's deeply unsettling, which makes you reflect on what's happening and whats happened in the past. It stays with you for a long time.

It's also completely self-contained whereas other Silent Hill's tend to link to each other (save Downpour and The Room).
And as stated above, it's the best by in the series by a long shot.

Counting flowers on the wall and playing solitaire until dawn with a deck of 51?

Left Brookhaven. Man this is just relentlessly, oppressively bleak. Proper horror. Amuses me that there are a million endings because as much as I think it's absolutely incredible, I'm not sure I'll ever want to play it again.

OK so I just completed the prison last night. Agree with the previous poster, that was probably the most oppressively dark level I have played in a videogame. I am certainly enjoying it a lot, but it is hard going for sure. A proper horror game this. A 2nd playthrough will probably wait a couple of years. Also, I don't creep out that easily, but... Visiting the toilets in the prison, only to think there isn't much here and then to leave. Cue loud scream and banging on the inside of the cubicle door. Fuck me did that make me jump and creep me out, I couldn't get out of there quick enough. The devs use jump scares sparingly so they hit home when they happen. May have to send them an invoice for some new underwear.
