They've released the episode titles which gives some clues. Spoilers obviously but Tommy, Left Behind, Winter/University(?), Fireflies
Definitely going to have Ellie alone in as they've spoken about the actor who plays David.

Yeah, it’s Wyoming next week - the preview showed the town we eventually see in TLoU2, rather than the power station. Then the flashback to when Ellie and Riley got bit. Then David in the woods. Then SLC for the finale. And remember the runtimes for episodes vary wildly too so going by episode count isn’t necessarily accurate. |

5 might have been my favourite episode yet. Hadn't really seen much infected yet really, and thought it was great. Henry and Sam actors brilliant too and the way their story played out, horrible but perfect.

I thought it was great, including the end battle. The kids and I howled with cathartic laughter when the bloater ripped Perry's head off and the clicker kid pounded Kathleen to death. On the podcast Mazin said he wanted the bloater to rip Perry in half but Weta just couldn't get it to work so they went for the decapitation instead. |

Thought that episode was merely OK, silly sharpshooter Joel, daft & clichéd throughout, zombie hordes, at least the terribly miscast Kathleen didn't survive, Ellie good throughout though and the episode ended OK fortunately.

I thought Kathleen was cast quite well. It was a bit jarring at first, but I thought she got the nurse ratchet thing down fairly well.
The fact that everyone is happy she didn't survive is testament to how well she played an evil fucker I reckon.

I liked I Am Legend, despite the dodgy CGI. I thought Smith was brilliant in it. The intro to LOU with the scientist being interviewed actually had shades of the Emma Thompson but in Legend, albeit from a different angle.

I Am Legend is the worst movie adaptation of a book I've ever seen, and by quite some distance. Absolutely guts the whole point of the story and title.

Just watched ep 5. Some really, really good bits and some bits that were just videogamey. I was annoyed that Pedro Pascal managed in 20 seconds what it took me about half an hour to do.

I’m catching up on last week’s episode, but man.
This better be a turning point for game to TV adaptations.
Like how Blade was for comics.
They don’t all have to include the writer of the game in the adaptation, but they should all at least be ran by someone who played the entire game, not just watched a trailer and said “got it!”

If Pedro doesn’t win an Emmy for this it’s going to be a tragedy. Expanding out Joel’s vulnerability and not making him just Gruff Father Figure is a super welcome change. And always nice to see Graham Greene in something.

Fuck, this show is good.
It really helps not being in control, you know? Because it’s the same overall story with the same overall beats, but not playing as the protagonist helps give an overall sympathetic look at EVERYONE.
That said, Momma Lynskey was still just a mom.
