Edit: instant rematch, finally. Loading times (at least on PS5) seem relatively short too - at least compared to T7. MainMan is having some lag with people in Europe but I suppose that's why you have a CNT.

Last match I had ended in a perfect round so I figured that was a good time to make it the last match of the beta. Yeh I'm really loving this, going round all the characters and finding out what's possible and (trying) to put it all into practice in matches was some of the most fun I've had in a while. I casually played all of the characters but the ones I gravitated towards were Hwoarang, Asuka, Lili and Law. Got up to Brawler title with Hwoarang which I was pleased about. Even cleared all combo challenges for the three of them plus Kazuya. My biggest flaw is that I feel good practicing these long string combos but in a real match it all goes out the window and I struggle. Guess it'll come with more practice. If I have any complaints, sidestepping and backstepping can feel sluggish. I never feel sidestepping in particular really works, guess it's really situational. Also some moves and combos are pretty wild. Kazuya has a 4 string combo that does about 40% damage. I get Kazuya is a badass in the lore at this point, but get hit by that 3 times and it's over, that shouldn't happen. There's a bunch of hidden depth in there too like low parries and stuff that's never explained, guess the game just expects you to know at this point.

But yeh, I'll definitely be playing...whenever it comes.

I am hugely disappointed that they don’t appear to use the trailer announcer for anything in the game.

If I remember right one of the Pride FC games on PS2 had Lenne Hardt as the announcer, so maybe play a bit of that. As MAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-SATOOOOOOOO.

I need a character reveal starting with the words "I'm your worst nightmare..."
