In chronological order.
C64 - Bought as a Christmas present for me and my brother when we were kids Master System - Ditto Mega Drive - Ditto Sega Saturn - Ditto N64 - Traded my Saturn in at the local dodgy games guy at the market for this as soon as I saw/played Mario 64 Playstation - Traded my N64 with a kid from school in order to get cheap copied games with my pocket money Dreamcast - My brother and I saved dinner money, pocket money and babysitting money to club together for this PC - Parents bought this one after years of me telling them I 'needed it for school work' Playstation 2 - As above, though by now my older brother had a proper job which made this easier GameCube - Brother bought it, now in a full time job 360/Wii - Bought with my own money working at Currys at similar times (can't remember which came first) PS3 - Brother bought this just before moving out, took it with him Wii U - Bought it my brother for his birthday, ended up playing it more than him PS4 - Bought as a boring adult Switch - Bought as a boring adult Series S - Bought as a boring, tight adult
Too many handhelds over the years to remember but I think it went GameBoy Colour > GBA > DS > DS Lite > 3DS. Upgraded the PC a few times over the last twenty years too (though I've never had anything cutting edge).
Favourites - Mega Drive, N64, Dreamcast, GameCube. Never really gelled with with Sony like everyone else did (despite owning every console they've ever made bar the PS5).

Somewhere in between these I've had multiple PCs and emulation handhelds. Also got the PS Mini, Mega drive Mini, SNES Mini, C64 mini and a PC Engine Mini on the way. And I've preordered the Evercade EXP.

Well, mine will be short.
NES SNES Various PCs
I have a PS4 but it was given to me by a friend and the only game I've played on it is Bloodborne, so I don't think it counts really.

I think my list is...
ZX Spectrum 48k Megadrive (skipped straight over the master system, relied on a friend with a NES) Playstation 1 Neo Geo Pocket Playstation 2 PSP Xbox 360 3DS Playstation 4 PS Vita Switch Playstation 5 Wii (late to the party, got a free one to play WiiSports with the nippers)
Looking back, that's a lot of handhelds. Most of the above are either in use or in the loft.

I'm spotting about 4 or 5 binatone users here. Respect. Pretty sure that was the one now I have googled it, to be honest it was my Dad's but that was my first memory of playing games.

A switch. It had these toggle like switches on the console to choose what game you wanted to play. Had about 8 games built in I think we just played Pong all the time on ours

Dad brought it home from work one day but he never played on it. As I had a twin brother it was ideal, best babysitter they ever had

Hmmm, okay if I remember rightly it goes a little something like this:
- Commodore 16 (mostly playing Fire Ant and Treasure Island, and trying to follow code exercises in basic) - Vic 20 (we were burgled and friends of ours loaned us this to try and replace my stolen C16) - Amiga 500 - Mega Drive - N64 (I only had access to the Amiga and Mega Drive for years, so by the time I could get an N64 I was gagging for a better console!) - Gamecube - PSOne (I was late to the PS owning party, but had this and the Gamecube on rotation for a while) - PS2 Slim - Xbox 360 - PS3 (phat one, managed to blag one when working at SCEE as I only had the 360 at the point I was hired) - Vita - PS4 (my very first console purchased at launch!!!) - PS5
I realise in posting this that whilst I've owned a lot of consoles only one of them was purchased on launch day (the PS5 was as early as I could grab one, but still months after launch) so for a long time I was relying on playing at friend's houses for new releases etc.

I think mine would be this lot in terms of what I owned. Plus former flatmate kept his original Xbox and Wii in the living room for a bit.

These were purchased before I was born. They were my dad's but I have memories of playing Pitfall, SMB, etc.
Atari 2600 Nintendo
My sister got a Genesis
Then from here, I was the only one in the family that kept gaming
Super Nintendo GameGear PlayStation Nintendo 64 Saturn Gameboy Color Dreamcast PlayStation 2 NeoGeo Pocket Gameboy Advance SP Xbox Gamecube PSP Nintendo DS Xbox 360 Wii PS3 Nintendo 3DS Wii U Vita Xbox One PS4 Switch PS5 Xbox Series X
Apart from the 360 era, where that console really took over, I did most of my gaming on the PS platforms.

I think a really/more interesting thread would be along the lines of "Talk in proper anecdote form about your memories of a given system or console" to get a bit of back and forth and nostalgia going. Maybe there is one but I wouldn't limit this to retro. I might make one when this dies down if somebody else doesn't. Only lists! No discussing. #notmylists

Loving the lists!
Mine:
Some Pong thing. Not a Binatone though! Spectrum 48K Spectrum +3 Gameboy Amiga 500+ Amiga 1200 [Various PCs after this point] PS1 PS2 Gameboy Advance SP GameCube DS Lite Wii PS3 3DS PS4 Switch PS5 Xbox Series S
Edit: Bloody hell, I left out the Vita!
Shame on me for that oversight. I love that console.
