I reckon we can take something from Spurs. All the others will beat us.

Lol, relegation zone behave. We won't get relegated, that's obvious. I just said by the start of December we could be hovering near the relegation zone due to the teams we have to play. I can't see where the points are coming from, can you enlighten me?

I think you’re massively overestimating the ability of teams in the bottom half of the table to even get points off each other there

I think you’re massively overestimating the ability of teams in the bottom half of the table to even get points off each other there Villa, Watford, Southampton, Brentford and maybe Leeds are all capable of picking up some wins. Everton, Leicester, Arsenal and Wolves will soon skip past us. Like I said I didn't mean we would be in it, just hovering near it. We could very easily lose / draw the next five games

Its absolutely not going to be that bad I hope you are right, but I have no idea where the points are going to come from. I just hope the crap version of Spurs turns up on Saturday

We'd have to somehow be deducted points or something to be near relegation.
I don't fully disagree with some of what Clem says though. If Maguire defends as he has we will keep a clean sheet against absolutely nobody. But reckon we will revert back to the usual of just outscoring teams and picking up enough points to be around top 4.

But if they beat us I reckon we struggle. We won't pick up anything against City or Chelsea and I can see Watford and Arsenal beating us if we are low on confidence. The Spurs game is vital

So the games you got are:
Spurs - A Man City - H Watford - A Chelsea - A
Then December is:
Arsenal - H Palace - H Norwich - A Brentford - A Brighton - H Newcastle - A Burnley - H
Think you'll be ok.

Yeah we will be fine after Arsenal and will start picking up points again. I just said we could be near the zone by early December as I can't see where the wins are coming from.

Spurs ain’t exactly a tough game for you guys. We had zero shots in the second half yesterday so we’ll hardly be testing your defence.

I just worry that we'll get the decent version. Also Nuno has consistently outclassed and outthought us with Wolves for the past 2 seasons

Not sure about that one, our games with Wolves have been utter torture to watch. Probably the most dour PL game to watch over the last few seasons.

There are actually rumblings a foot, I figured he would survive this.
Latest odds on next Utd manager Zinedine Zidane 3/1 Brendan Rodgers 7/2 Antonio Conte 5/1 Mauricio Pochettino 12/1 Erik Ten Hag 12/1 Laurent Blanc 20/1 Massimiliano Allegri 25/1 Rafael Benitez 25/1 Gareth Southgate 25/1 Julian Nagelsmann 25/1
Rafa is a nice touch.
Only 4 of them I'd want and not sure any of those 4 would be up to it.

Rodgers out of them, for me.
Zidane doesn't do anything for me at this moment in time. That really could be a total disaster waiting to happen. Conte is the safe pair of hands, but I seriously doubt he'd get along with the board.

I'd say only the top 3 are realistic options. The others have only recently joined or are managing teams I'd doubt they would leave in the middle of the season.
Blanc has been out of work for ages too.

I have no idea how good Zidane is as a manager as he had that Real team, I certainly don't want him as our manager.

I'd take Conte, i'd take two years and couple of trophies right now. Then we can take Hansi Flick after he has won the 2022 world cup with Germany

If you get Brendan from us, expect to pay an absolute pissing fortune. He's already third or fourth highest paid manager in football (but, tbf, he's probably earning it) so you've got to buy him out of contract, bring a bunch of his staff AND improve the wages.
The board have then got to sell to the fans why they've replaced a United legend with someone who managed Liverpool in the recent past

Rodgers probably the smartest choice out of those. But he's a bottler and we probably still wouldn't win anything.

I’ll enjoy the Agent Rodgers memes as soon as he has his first “loss” at United

I'd imagine he'd easily have this set of players singing a tune for him.
Again we're no longer in a position where were entitled to win anything. But fucking hell, it'd be nice to enjoy one or two games again even if we do come up short and I think Brentan would most certainly be able to have us playing some nice stuff.

Where the fuck are these "rumblings" coming from?! Someone doing a shit and seeing what manager it looks like? Betting companies. Frankly, no one on that list inspires any confidence at all. Rodgers? Fuck off.
