Tbf, it was fully right that Bruno take the penalty. So uncharacteristic for him to miss. Strange game, really not much in it, you couldn't have had many complaints with any of the three possible outcomes. It was Villa's day. The issue there is that this was at OT, it really shouldn't be a question of hoping to just about edge it against villa at home. Good a side as they are. One of those days where the ball was never going in for us no matter what. Pogba and Greenwood both could have had 2 or 3 each. Unfortunately of all the players it was Ronaldo who was pretty quiet and didn't have many chances. |

Ronaldo wasn't that quiet, he had more touches than super midfielder Scott Mctominay.
Actually I should rephrase it, Ronaldo was quiet today and Mctominay is just a bit shit.

Really impressed with Brentford so far. I wasn’t sure if they just looked good against a depleted, listless Arsenal team on opening day but I’m impressed. Very direct.

Promoted teams have been good value in recent years. Wolves, Villa, Leeds and now (possibly) Brentford have come up in the past 4 seasons with great players, managers and playing styles.

Definitely need one or two more to feel safe. Brentford have been great, and yeah looks like they are enjoying the first season without so much expectation or pressure.
