Watching Villa hold our own against Chelsea is great. Archer Scored a cracking header.

For the first time in as long as I can remember, there are no Arsenal streams available. Back to my roots, 5LiveExtra it is! Big late, but hesgoals may have one.

Nah, they all lead to another game. Not on telly anywhere in the world. Arsenal Twitter has resorted to following a chap live streaming from the ground.
Sounded a nice goal by Eddie. Thanks though, a good link!

So that’s the first competition we are out of. In September. Waiting for the usual ole apologists to show up and say it’s only the EFL cup, weak team selection etc. He obviously just needs time.....

Not worried about Sancho at all to be honest, he is very tidy on the ball and looks a threat.

Martial didn't help Sancho tonight, if he wasn't standing right next to him he was stood still up front.

Took 3 missed penalties from wolves, we’re through and I’ll take it.

Not wanting to sound dramatic but can't help but think that result is the first nail in Oles coffin 🙁

Out on pens. Not bad considering Chelsea bought on Mount and Lukaku.

Yeah, that was toothless. There's not really any excuses but after the weekend, you could see it coming.
Hey ho.
Ironically, I thought that Sancho and Van de Beek had their best games for us and Lindelof wasn't bad either. Might just be time to kick that double pivot in the face and try something different.

Sancho looked your best player IMO. Once he’s settled I think he’ll be great for you.

Not wanting to sound dramatic but can't help but think that result is the first nail in Oles coffin 🙁 I agree. Team out there was really really good. Just bad tactics. Was a good look at Sancho and VDB. And by a good look, I mean they both looked shit. Again though, most likely the tactics.

I was speaking to a mate today and we both agreed that’s it time to give vdb and scott the dual midfield role for a bit, scott as Defensive midfielder (in place of Fred) and vdb as the link up central midfielder. So of course ole won’t try it.

Thought VDB was rubbish and partly to blame for the goal. Lost pos so many times.
Ideally Rashford would play on the left, with Pogba and Scott in the middle. Had no attack on the left, with Pogba there. And ideally we'd rather play there with Shaw's quality and AWB's non quality.

For some reason pogba cannot play that centre mid role for us and be effective. He’s much better front left. However I agree we have Better players in the squad for that front left position. All I know is we need to stop playing Fred / matic, Fred can’t actually play football and matic’s legs went about 3 years ago. So let’s see what scott and vdb play like together for a few games

He did lose possession poorly twice early in the second half but apart from that I don't think he put a foot wrong really.

Some of the hyperbole from us United fans in this thread is incredible. Sancho didn't look "shit". The game wasn't great and I'm disappointed we lost but, tonight is the night to experiment and it was a lot of players that haven't played much.
West ham got their early goal and held on, fair play to them (and broke with a threat when we were going completely balls out to win which was the right thing to do).
It wasn't a great night but I do think we were the better team albeit without carrying enough threat. No team is great 100% of the time. I'm far from an Ole apologist so I hope nobody tries to throw that at me, but some of you, particularly over the last couple of weeks are so over the top.
