They already show every game here in Spain, it's been a blessing to ditch shitty streams for one that actually works. Plus they have F1, MotoGP and all sorts of other stuff.
All in Spanish though, but that is fair enough.

Great penalties in the QPR vs Everton tie. Glad for the QPR keeper even if the one that was retaken was the correct decision.

Blyth beat FC United in the FA Cup tonight. Sad night for the inventors of nonleague football but cracking one for our famous historic boys.

Who are those? We're aspiring to be champions. Same as Chelsea, same as Liverpool. Teams we were better than in the league last season. City, Liverpool and Chelsea, the three main teams (sorry Leicester) who have all won and competed for the major silverware for the last 8 years. We haven’t competed in the league since Ferguson left. A distant 2nd under Jose and ole don’t count as we never had a chance of winning the league in those two seasons. I’m not sure what point you are even trying to make. You're not sure the point I'm trying to make? Maybe that over 38 games we were better than Liverpool and Chelsea last season. So if that isn't some sort of progress, then I don't know what you are expecting. If you thought we would be champions after two seasons post Jose, with ANY MANAGER, then you are mental.

Not sure If they'd try and take the UK market for a ride, but I had DAZN when I lived in Canada, for what worked out at about £12 a month. It was amazing. Every Prem game, every UCL/EL game, plenty of other stuff. I also miss the latest weekend kick off being 12:30, which let you have time to do stuff during the day lol.

A reminder that DAZN is apparently pronounced DaZoNe.

Liverpool had the post premier league winners hangover like most teams do when they win it, plus they lost Van Dijk. Chelsea won the champions league after Lampard ruined their premier league campaign. We took 2nd by default and City won it at a canter. So yeah I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. Fair play though if you think the Europa league final dreadful loss and taking 2nd in the league with no chance of winning it is progress, well done. But Jose managed that quite easily and actually won the Europa playing the same god awful football.

He also alienated half the players and a good proportion of the fans and generally made the club an horrific place to be around.

That is true, he was poison However how anyone can look at what we have now in management and think it’s comparable to management at city, Liverpool or Chelsea is beyond me. We are the biggest club in the country if not the world and we have a championship level manager.

Honestly, decisions made by the club management (let's face it, Woodward) have been appalling for ages now and it's wrong from the top down. I can't blame Ole for wanting the job and I want him to succeed but I don't think he has the chops to be a top manager. He'd make a decent first team coach under someone else and he's pulled us out from the poison, but I think that's probably as far as he can go. We'll finish top 4, but that's it.
Still. Phil Fucking Jones is in the squad tonight.
Not premier league, but horrible news about Derby County.

Good vibes aren't enough forever though. The club's not a black hole of misery anymore, that's great. Let's try and make our games less miserable to watch now. It's been years of this and it's kicked off the exact same again, hence the concern in spite of our positive looking results.

I share the concern and whilst I understand the “support the club no matter what” attitude, I’m not buying it. They should be open to justifiable criticism. I’m possibly a little more pragmatic about it than I was years ago, which is probably partly down to growing up (and please, I mean me personally here, that is NOT intended to be a critique of anyone else, I swear) and partly down to just not having the energy to get super riled up by it. I enjoyed the first half of the West Ham game. The second half was dire until the end but it wasn’t a surprise and so I’m just kinda “meh, really lucky win”.

Less growing up for me, more priorities change. I would get positively rabid when in my 20s. Now I just shrug it off. Some.of that is lowering of expectations but mostly it's just I have other things to worry about. Although a loss still ruins a day, it's not a whole weekend now.

Fun start to this league cup game. Pretty sure an actual rusted up bucket may be more use at LB than Telles.
Martial and Sancho could really use a goal or assist to kick start them.
And thought it was a penalty on Lingard, Noble has clearly grabbed him.

Aye, I'm very much in the 'not overly riled about it anymore' category. I probably sound very ranty in the thread but I'm just trying to elaborate on what can pretty much be condensed down into "This looks pretty much exactly the same to me". It is what it is, I still very much support the team but also, if we never actually turn the corner then it's not going to have a massive impact on my life, other than grumbling about the games being a bit shit to watch.

I’ll generally be pissed off for a couple of hours then just forget about it. It’s more frustrating considering how close we were getting under Poch and now we are way back again. Plus generally playing awful football for the last 2 years.
Another poor goal conceded after being in control.

I'm still on the it ruins my whole weekend stage.
If we had a striker that actually made runs we'd be looking very dangerous. Used to be a big martial fan, but watching him bimble about or stick to the lw is doing my head in.
Nice to see vdb play the Fred role calmly with some tidy passing.

For the first time in as long as I can remember, there are no Arsenal streams available. Back to my roots, 5LiveExtra it is!
