United will win the league. There, I fully expect that to be used against me when they inevitably don't. I think I said the same thing earlier in the thread so we’ll go down together.

Mendy with some quality saves to keep Chelsea ahead.
I feared for this game and it could still go to shit, but I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far.

That was incredible being back at the footy and seeing Ronaldo again. Played well apart from Matic, he hasn't got the legs anymore.

Green and gold until there’s been hundreds of millions invested in the team and club…but yes, kid yourself that the protests did nothing. Haha, you surely don't believe that? It's not as if you haven't been invested in since forever. I may be wrong, but from the outside, Man Utd have spent a fortune pretty much every season. It just takes time (and luck) to find the right formula.

The Arse won a game! From last to 16th - we are flying! I wouldn't say we were 100% convincing, but we were the better team, even if it took a ridiculously scrappy goal (they all count imo). Aside from that, I fucking loved being back. So good to see so many old faces, drink some beers and enjoy good company. I am full of the joys (even if I somehow gave myself a massive hangover last night, despite trying to be careful...). Brilliant day.

But Green and Gold hasn't been a thing in probably 10 years. Point is, they may have invested more but it's got precious little to do with a small protest group.

Brighton vs Munich in the champs league final. See you in May 2023. To be honest we've had a nice start fixture wise, so really needed to get those points on the board.... But it's amazing to already be a quarter of the way to safety and to look down on those scratching around at the bottom...

And now is the first time there’s been dialogue with the fans since the Glazers took over. They’re horrible leaches but they’re at least saying and doing the right things since the protests.

Played well and lost. Can't complain. Couldn't finish and Chelsea took their chances. Love Mings as a person but he always has one of those mistakes in him a game.
Ref was shit. Ramsey and Silva did similar challenges and only Ramsey got a yellow. He was home ref.

It just seems like we're actually taking chances this year, it's only taken half a decade of the premier league to have a bit of backbone and good fortune.
I could still see the team sagging badly in the middle season as per. We love to make it unbearably tense for the run in.

You can see why they want Bruce out though. Everyman back as far as possible, hope Almiron can press like crazy on his own and then give it to Saint Maximan. Who then has to do everything on his own.

And another here (though man united are my main passion have a Brighton season ticket and have developed a real love for them) hoping to have a less stressful season this year. Comfortably mid table would be nice!

This is probably fair but he's come in to do a job nobody else would seemingly take. How on Earth Ashley shafted Rafa and didn't manage to hold on to him is astonishing. Almost as astonishing as how Ashley hasn't managed to sell and get out. I'd be pissy if I were a Newcastle fan too. With Wilson fit he'll offer them more, they'll stay up but understandably not where they think they should be.

Those big brand billionaires wouldn't even notice if you stopped bothering. Nothing wrong with supporting your local team fully regardless of the past

Had a great time at old Trafford. Never imagined I'd see him score again. It might only last a season but I'm going to enjoy while it lasts.

Nice to see Ronaldo back at Utd, feels like we're back in the 360/PS3 days. A fight could break out any moment....

Man Utd really do feel a lot more proper now, don’t they?

They'll never win anything with 'rabbit in a headlights' Ole in charge.

You are probably right but there becomes a point where you can win things via luck or brute force which is our best chance

Scoreline seemed to flatter you from the highlights, but they don't always tell the story.

That’s entirely because of pandemic financial conditions though, like us signing a player from Barcelona.

Scoreline seemed to flatter you from the highlights, but they don't always tell the story. It was an even game up until bruno banging in the 3rd. We won the game on pure star power, nothing else. But that is progress, as we would have drawn the same game last season. Maguires blunder was shocking, he slid into a tackle in midfield, missed by a mile and left a big gaping hole at the back that Newcastle scored from. If that was lindelof he would be crucified for it. Old slab does it and nothing is said. Maguire makes these stupid mistakes every week, yet the £80 million England hero donkey is never criticised

Scoreline seemed to flatter you from the highlights, but they don't always tell the story. To be fair we played very well. I heard that one the radio on the drive home that the scoreline flattered us, but we had complete control apart from a couple of sloppy moments. Newcastle were wasting time after 5 minutes. They deserve every 4 goal shoeing they get playing like that.

We were camped in their half the majority of the game.
