Green and gold until there’s been hundreds of millions invested in the team and club…but yes, kid yourself that the protests did nothing.

Ah I know. Definitely more Steve Bruce to blame than some young keeper. They were saying on my broadcast how bad Darlow had it. Would hope it encourages all the players to get vaxxed. Bruce was saying loads of the lads are into their conspiracies so who knows. Its amazing a Premier League player has anywhere on their body where two stone could even be shed from, must be some real muscle wastage he suffered.

We still looks dodgy at the back. But Ronny will bag goals as expected. Newcastle were tough to break down. But job well done.
Their 3rd keeper was dusty.

We are pretty strong at the back apart from Maguire and his usual blunders. Varane was class. The glaring problem area is defensive midfield now. But I think we have enough star power to just outscore most teams. I reckon we will win something this season

United will win the league. There, I fully expect that to be used against me when they inevitably don't.

“Ronaldo is not the player he once was. I think he’ll flop at United’.
That’s all I’ve been hearing from non-United fans. Lol

The less said about Fred the better. I Scott can stay fit would be nice.

Maguire is consistently good for us, it amazes me how often United fans shit on him.

Not really the time, but in the grander scheme of things, I'm still not totally convinced. It was a typical United Vs Low Block Team performance up until Ronaldo nipped in with some great poacher's movement and our general passing and play still looks a million miles off City and Liverpool. We're like statues for 90% of a game.
But fucking hell, what a magical day. Just a brilliant story and I'm sure the guys that went will remember it for the rest of their lives. Ronaldo proved he'll get goals and hopefully we start taking this type of game more often with him there to get on the end of stuff when we're struggling.
Newcastle time wasting 5 minutes into the game was hilarious and tragic in equal measure.

Some of you United fans in here are like Liverpool fans of old inverted. Top of the league, smashed Newcastle, signed one of the best players in the world and best prospects in one window... It might actually be your year. I wish having the Euro runners up first choice CB in my team was what I had to moan about.

I agree, with the talent in that squad, if we had a coach who could teach the kind of structural attacking patterns that we see from modern coaches we would be in with a shout. As of now, United seem to rely on individual brilliance to pull through, which is not always enough. Ronaldo's second goal was about the only time the team actually put together a decent attacking move.

Anyway, a bungled 1-0 win at home to newly promoted Norwich is some glacial progress. Aubamayang looks like he's ready for the fucking glue factory but our new signings look like they have potential...
with a new team of coaches.

He's not the same player for obvious reasons, but fucking hell has he got his game down to a fine art. Never in a month of Sundays would Martial have nipped in like that in that split second for the opener. The intelligence in the final 6-18 yards is something we've been missing since at least RVP. It should win us at least 2 or 3 extra games a season on that alone.

Their kit is fucking hideous. I usually get used to these outlandish ones after two or three games but there's something about it that really offends me on a personal level.
