Certainly doesn't look good with the number of alleged victims.
What I don't understand is why there is so many victims, is it because others have come forward in the time they were investigating the first? Why wasn't he arrested sooner if there was a chance it could have prevented the others.

If Ronaldo goes to City, I'll always appreciate the time he was with us at the club and what he helped us achieve, but I will have lost respect for him. You don't go from saying multiple times "I'd never join another English club" to then joining our direct and local rivals. He can spin it as much as he wants, "a new challenge" whatever we see it for what it is and that's for the money. Would rather he be honest about that, because if he did want a challenge he actually would join Utd. Be the part of a team that's been challenging for the league title and see if it helps push us on towards winning it with him in it.

This guy (who I gather is reliable) said that United were approached by Mendes:
Others are saying that not only that, but Ronaldo actively pushed for United first. It's an interesting one.... in a way I respect them for not taking him back on, bringing in the likes of Sancho and Varane is much more of a statement of intent for building for the future. Of course, it could back fire really fucking badly over the next season or two.

Martial, James and Pogba should be not be playing up front.
So that leaves us with Greenwood, Cavani, Sancho and Rashford when all fit.
Ronaldo will fit in okay as Cavani can't play every game and Rashford is a walking sick note.
Strength and depth is required.
However this still does not solve out dire defensive midfielder situation

I would be delighted for us to get Ronny back but I do think part of that is that I would hate to see him play for another PL team.

It is quite funny seeing how easily we swiped him from the poor little buggers but I'd really rather have just left it in the past. There's no doubting his greatness but I think we need a little bit more than just him to achieve what we're obviously getting him hoping to do. Could upset what balance we've actually managed to get to with this squad while we're at it.

I see your point, but he is a proven winner and we need more of them in our squad. I'm sick and tired of losing semi finals and a final.
The guy should be a positive influence on the team. Also strength and depth.
Maybe we can start spanking the likes of Southampton and Sheffield united with pure star power. As it won't happen with Ole's tactics
