I guess the only dodgiest one is the Odegaard handball when he was an VAR duty. He was also on VAR duty on the match against Everton in October 2020, where VVD was seriously injured by Pickford but was not punished for it (because VVD was offside)...

Unfortunate news breaking on RVN at United but fully expected I think.
Probably good to remove a potential ‘play mum and dad off against each other’ scenario with the players.

Ruud and the other coaches gone.
That was an expensive few months, I imagine.

I mean apart from the German bit, he's not wrong is he... There is this. Klopp loved to throw his weight around, screaming at fourth officials inches from their faces and generally trying to influence decisions by piling the pressure onto refs during and after matches. I’m sure most people would get home and use the c-word if they had a customer or colleague treat them like that.

They both made each other's day. I think Garnacho's reaction also comes following that case this week where he's signing autographs and that Youtuber criticised him in public. Plus the calling out from Casemiro on the pitch and got some attention. If you're in that position you can maybe feel the online criticism you read from fans bleeds over into the real world. Mind you his performances of late have been left wanting, but he's young, certainly not the only under performer and actual fans attending the stadiums I'm sure has more tolerance for it given he's young, an academy player with lots of potential. The fans even singing the Ronaldo song swapping his name with Garnacho's, that is a pretty big honor. Hopefully he'll find some consistent form back under Amorim. And of course Liverpool fans over reacting to the vid.

TufftyEvery time I get the rare privilege of OT, I *always* get the angriest couple of people in the stadium behind me and on Thursday he was copping lots and lots of shit from this apoplectic group, as was Ruud: ‘This is shit! It’s just the same style and shite we saw under fucking Ten Hag! He’s not fucking doing anything different!’ Personally think Ruud did extremely well with a four match remit and couldn’t have been expected to revolutionise any style of play but what do I know. So sadly you do hear it at the match. I personally go with the Mrs and yeah I’ll have a vent in her ear about it but I’d never be screaming stuff pitchwards. Others do though.

Lineker out - fingers crossed Mark Chapman in then? Just glad it’s not going to be Jenas. On the news they said that the new head of sport has their own idea about how they want the show to go. 60 years without anyone fannying about with it, then someone thinks they know better 🤔

It was the right decision to let Ruud go, we can't have the players focusing on anything but the new boss. I was delighted to see him arrive and I'm sad to see him go but hopefully it will help him into a new managerial role.
I'm excited for the new boss as well, I'm hoping he can get a tune out of our players.

Didn't realise it's the chap who used to run thr Athletic, as well as Mail and Times Sports editor. And seems he pissed off the transphobes, so hopefully all good.
New BBC sport head that is.

Chapman would be obvious pick and Scott get MOTD2. If it were me, I'd say James Richardson but that ain't happening. What's Jake Humphrey at these days?

Much like Gary Neville inventing holidays. He came out with another one the other week but can't remember what it was

Fair enough, but would they do it in front of a camera, in the off chance it could be seen by said customer/colleague?
Also, he appears quite calm and composed, not venting or anything like that.

Would be great if he could temp a couple of Sporting players like Gyokeres to follow him come January; I'd love some City trashing in PL as well

My guess from what the other guy is saying is that it was recorded to give the lads on a group chat something to laugh about. Presumably there’s some preamble banter where they’ve been ribbing him over a game or interview Klopp has given. I still think it feels like there’s been some chemical enhancement as well as the intoxicating effects of being in a banterzone.

Motd used to be a staple, nowadays I just catch all the highlights on YT. Happy to avoid the top bants and vapid "analysis".
Paid far too much, spend it on actual programming

So Odegaard travels all the way to Norway to get assessed by the NT, then they confirm he shouldn’t play and goes back to London.
Football is just so ridiculous.
