Am I wrong or did it used to be the case that half of the episode would be one match and its analysis and then it’d basically just a goals round-up for all the other games?
A bit like how MOTD2 does Sunday’s match then crams Saturday’s goals into the last ten minutes.
I swear I can remember being a kid and hoping that my team would be the one being shown that week [/ronmanager]

So Odegaard travels all the way to Norway to get assessed by the NT, then they confirm he shouldn’t play and goes back to London. Football is just so ridiculous. Does seem a bit mad, but equally, it's probably exactly what's required to develop good faith relationships with the national federations. Give them the clubs info and medical opinion then let them confirm it independently. Also knowing Odegaard he'd have really wanted to play and we shouldn't piss him off. A lot depends on how serious Rice and Saka's injuries are but for once it seems like this international break could work out quite well for us. Handy for those three key players to get more rest & training. White hasn't looked fully fit since his injuries and will get more time to do conditioning. Partey has been playing three games a week and he hasn't been called up either. Maybe we'll even have Tomi back in a couple of weeks. Then we've got players like Merino and Zinchenko who need minutes and should get them. Really the only one that bothers me this time around is Havertz who has looked increasingly knackered playing every minute for us. Hopefully Germany are reasonable with him.

Surely the Norwegian FA could have contracted an independent London based doctor to verify what the club said instead of flying him out.
Better for the climate and I assume spending hours on a plane isn’t ideal for circulation/healing the injury if rest and recuperation are needed.

He's also their Captain so it's a bit more of a special case. I work with a Norwegian company and from what they tell me he's their golden boy, and (along with Haaland) seen as crucial to their hopes of qualifying for a major tournament. It's akin to Beckham's metatarsal for them.

Arsenal will probably need another midfielder in January, should have ditched years ago.

Not particularly Premier League, but it’s hilarious how salty Real Madrid are over the Ballon D’or.

I don't think long queues are an issue in the Championship.

We have that at the Amex, and it wasn't even a first when we got it.

Just queuing and paying contactless Yeah it's a west lower thing I'm afraid! m.youtube.com/watch?v=QxD5YFZfVgcIt's surprisingly accurate when you just wander off with whatever you want. Maybe it's different to the Amazon tech in that you have to tap in 1st.

Such a silly boy. Why , if it’s him, film all of this. Explains the dilated stare in the main video potentially. Although…whilst it does look like his features I don’t think that’s a forensically damning video, showing only a fleeting glimpse of a portion of a face. Maybe if we checked his Goodreads account to see if he likes Terry Hayes we could be sure.

www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/KvuU1zieI2Fair enough, good VAR. Obviously I'm still kind of disappointed because we see remarkably similar incidents overlooked, but in isolation I have no complaints. They discuss the key points of the law and use the benefit video evidence to make a subjective call. Went against us on this occasion but this is what VAR is for. Presume it's Gillet on VAR due to the accent, but he's done a really good job.of communication there. I just wish we'd always have VAR audio at the time as it's far more acceptable when you hear the rationale for overruling the onfield decision. This would also help to understand why the inconsistency exists. For example what was said on the superficially very similar incident at Liverpool where no red was given? Was the same methodical process followed or is it pretty ad-hoc which each VAR doing things differently? Can't really have full faith in the process until they stop cherry picking which reviews get shared.

Agree 100%. Been saying it since Day 1 but they need to learn from cricket and rugby on how to communicate better. They've already gone through it, why reinvent the wheel ffs.

He’s just trying to repair his relationship with all scousers, by paying homage to Robbie Fowler
