The only games at United I can ever get are cup games, as the season ticket holders typically sell those tickets back to Utd to offset the cost of the season. They’ve now introduced a thing whereby you can’t download your ticket to your phone wallet and it has to be scanned in via the app at the gate. Just hoping to god this works offline as I do not get good signal around OT, and we’ve managed to get our first tickets since Newcastle panelled us in I think February. If it uses the same system we’ve had for the last few years, when you buy the ticket you add to your Apple/Google wallet which then totally works offline. At Elland Road the ticket uses device NFC, at Wembley it uses the wallet but with a barcode scanner, but in either case it works offline as long as you’ve added it in advance (pretty sure no major stadium gets reliable mobile internet on a matchday). |

They really mess with the flow of the season, I absolutely hate them. I would happily just have the world cup and Euros/Copa and just drop all the rest of it.

Yeah there should be an international window at the end of every season where you either play in a major tournament or a qualifying tournament for the next major tournament. Get rid of all in season international football.

Maybe I'm weird but I'm really enjoying this. Newcastle's press has been great and they're doing all the can to disrupt us. Actually think we've coped really well with that and got round it a lot.
Can't argue with their goal, just quality from their two best players. Aside from that moment we've been fairly good and chances are even.
Have to make a change to get more attacking threat through the middle. Trossard's having one those days. Maybe Nwaneri, though big ask. Otherwise Jesus to 9 and Havertz back perhaps?

I think White will come on before too long and would love him to have the balls to bring Nwanieri on too. We are missing Odegaard badly in these sorts of games and need impetus from someone other than Saka. |
