I love how these journalists pretend to have a clue about things said in meetings. Full of shit, the lot of them.

I have a lot of time for Alan Hansen, hope he pulls through.

BBC reporting Sancho is on the transfer list regardless of who their manager is.
£40m, if you're in the market.

People talking about Kompany falling upwards. That man just managed to win 0 trophies in Germany and finish 3rd. With Munich! And yet still might get offered a big club job. Getting the Man Utd job would seem like a fitting punishment for finishing trophyless with Bayern, tbh.

Arsenal after Osimhen. That would be quite nice. Just signed him in FM, tearing it up.

Great player but not worth the sorts of figures being touted imo. Also wouldn't appear to fit into how we play, but perhaps Arteta has a plan. If it happens it'd be massively exciting and a bit scary. One of those transfers we can't afford to get wrong given our finances. Sesko seems like the smarter buy.

Agree. Just can't see us being able to afford that sort of transfer this year and goes against the grain. Sesko feels more like it.

Really think Osimhen looks like a flop, hoping Liverpool or Chelsea spend big bucks on him pissing their squad of and disrupting the season.

These clubs are straining against the PLs rules because they want the breaks off so they can spend their way to the top, right?
Surely if they bring down the league’s own protections they’re just opening themselves up to the government stepping in with potentially stricter, legally backed, independent regulation.

It's almost like the press are a bunch of lying cunts that speculatively write stories in the hope they are right. They were all insisting they knew he was getting the sack as they expected us to lose to city.
Bunch of lying chancers most of them.
I think what annoys me even more is the amount of people that lap it up as fact as well.

I do think the press have been scummy but I think we might be a bit naive to think Ineos haven’t been speaking to people.
It’s shit treatment ETH has had here anyway.

I was certain he'd get the sack tbf. Before all the stories came out, always thought all the new guys coming in would have an idea of who they wanted instead.

Isn't it more the case that McKenna and Tuchel said no.

That's good to hear honestly. I do think it's tentative tho, if performances haven't improved by Christmas, he could be going. Perhaps if McKenna said otherwise it would be different. But still, deserves a chance with the new structure in place. Hope they can start bringing in the players. A LB that can stay fit would be nice.

Reports of a new contract too. That seems a bit far at this stage.

I was the same, after the Coventry game I 100% thought that was him done I still think INEOS changed their mind after the cup final as they didn’t like the optics after winning a cup If he starts badly next season he will be out immediately

I think what annoys me even more is the amount of people that lap it up as fact as well. To be fair 1 reporter (Steinberg) made that report. The usual good United forces were a little more "it's 50:50" by their reporting which I think it probably was. Anyway I'm delighted with that. I honestly think it was a bit of a no brainer, reap the praise of her has a brilliant third season or sack him with limited negative pr if things are going badly next season. I think we'll see huge improvement in the team next season once injuries aren't as crazy as this.
