The rules aren't fair and we want to change the rules but we've done nothing wrong. Honest guv.

Tyranny of the majority is evil, we much prefer tyranny of the minority. One Tyrant to rule them all.

Heard Lance Armstrong is now going to sue the Tour De France for banning performance enhancing drugs too.

I wonder what this will mean for Newcastle and all our absolutely legitimate Saudi Arabian based sponsors.

City sending the lawyers after the lawyers is so brazen. Trump levels of scapegoating.

Just kick them out the league, they obviously aren't happy so they should find somewhere they are. Inform them all charges are dropped but they are no longer welcome in the premier league and wish them all the very best for the future.

Highlights perfectly the need for regulation.

There must be Saudi League somewhere they would be welcome to spend away to oblivion in.

Just makes you want them to have all those trophies taken away even more.

Highlights perfectly the need for regulation. But by some authority independent of the government and its lucrative ties to the likes of Abu Dhabi.

I suppose the one encouraging thing in this moment of letting the mask slip is that there’s no way City’s lawyers would be trying it if they thought they were in a winning position on the 115.
They’ve kicked the can as far down the road as they can and now their only option is to try and retrospectively change the rules in their favour.
Its a shame there’s probably not a rule that’ll allow the PL to make charge 116 launching a vexatious and spurious lawsuit like when players used to get an extra game for trying to appeal stonewall red cards.

I saw some commentary last night that suggested City have achieved their goal in stretching things beyond the statute of limitations for additional charges. This is just the next play

Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Sessegnon, Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic all gone from Spurs.
Tanganga showed a lot of promise at the start.

Does that mean Dier could get to stay in Germany on a free?
Bayern really is a club for landing on your feet

Sess was money down the pan, kinda feel sorry for him with how many injuries he’s had. Is insurance against players being injured a thing?

Does that mean Dier could get to stay in Germany on a free? Bayern really is a club for landing on your feet They already paid 3m for him apparently. Think it was mentioned they had the option to extend it for another year. But he's a free agent now anyways so didn't really make sense.

We let go Paul Dummett, Matt Ritchie and Loris Karius who all feel like players we’ve probably wrung dry - although Karius in the Carson role might’ve been on option to hang onto if he was being paid peanuts.
What happened with Perisic, he was pretty well thought of when yous signed him, no?

Shame about Sess and Japh. Both had real promise. Apparently the latter did really well on loan last season so will probably land on his feet somewhere.
Sess though, I’m not so sure.

Re Perisic, he got a bad injury that ruled him out for most of last season. Which is a shame as I think he could have contributed.

City's argument over the PL rules would hold some water had they contested said rules before breaking them. Instead, same rules were just fine to break, when they thought they could get away with it

He was also late 30's when you got him, he would have been great had he come to the league in his prime. Like when Jose wanted him for us, but the board refused to let Martial go to sign him.

Bringing about the collapse of the football pyramid because you’re not being allowed to cheat is a hell of a “its my ball and I’m taking it home” move
